Ali
ding!
The high pitch sound of typing filled the room. A whoosh sound was heard.
ding!
And the cycle begins.
It was 2 hours of that. Cameron and I were in our hotel room, not talking, just the sound of him texting.
"Who ya texting?" I asked trying to distract him.
"Uh, nobody. Have fun bye!!" he replied quickly before another ding! ding! was heard. If didn't even say I was leaving.
But now I was.
I grabbed my purse off my bed and slipped on some white converse. I was just wearing black running shorts and a lacrosse shirt with my hair in a bun so I wasn't too bothered with whether I wore good shoes.
Crossing the street of the hotel we were currently at, I glanced at my surroundings. We were gonna be here for a week more so I should make a friend.
I slowly walked into Starbucks and waited in the short line. A girl around my age was in front of me.
Just then the door chime rung.
5 gorgeous looking guys came in. I gaped for a minute then decided on what to get.
Once it was my turn, I looked up at the cashier barista guy and say another gorgeous looking dude. What is in the water here.
I glanced at his name tag, Harper. (think Colton Haynes gorgeous)
He smiled at me as I said what I wanted.
"And what is this beautiful lady's name that is ordering an iced coffee?" I giggled.
"Ali" I replied smiling wide at him.
"Ali. Beautiful name for a beautiful girl." he said while smirking. Oh goodness.
"Wow. A pick up line almost as old as you." I said, remarking on the fact that he looked 20.
The guys behind me laughed hard as I smiled cheekily.
Harper laughed and shook his head.
I sat down for a while to wait and when my name was called I went up and got my drink. I looked closely at the cup to see a 10 digit number written with a heart next to it.
I glanced up at Harper so see him smirking back at me. I laughed and rolled my eyes.
Taking out my phone, I keyed the number in texting a quick hey:)
I heard a loud ding! and the manager yelling. I started to giggle.
you got me in trouble:((!! the text from Harper said.
I laughed and stood up, not bothering to reply. I gave a small wave to him glaring at me while filling another order. I laughed and walked back to the hotel.
I got up to my floor and stopped.
I saw 2 people. A tall guy with brown hair, like Cameron, wearing the same clothes as Cameron. He was leading a thin brunette into his room. Our room actually.
I gasped and watched him kiss her neck just like he used to do to me. She giggled.
Then my heart stopped completely.
"You are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen." he whispered, obviously not that quietly.
Tears poured down my face. He used to say that to me all the time.
I couldn't handle it. My throat closed up, my hands trembled.
I texted Jack G.
"I'm leaving."
-------------------------
I wiped my tears, angry that I had trusted him.
I touched up my makeup and used my key to get into the room that was occupied.
But I did not give a damn about that.
"Oh hi!!! Sorry let me just move my stuff." I said in a cheery voice to the couple that was making out on my bed.
Cameron's eyes widened. "Oh god Ali."
"Don't even start." I said as I gathered my stuff and took it into my hands.
"Oh but you know I'll just take a few twenties for the ride home. Thanks so much pal!" I grabbed his wallet and took about $200.
The mystery girl looked shocked. And slightly embarrassed.
"Nice to meet you by the way! Have fun with a cheater!!!" I called as I made my exit.
When I got to the end of the hallway, I heard yells. Smiling to myself, I pushed the down button.
"Bye Cameron."
