Senior days. Iba talaga pag senior ka na, mas mataas ang tingin nila sainyo. Not to mention, madaming pwedeng mangyari. To say senior year is awesome is understated. To sum up my whole senior year let me tell you the awesome start. It all started when they signed me up in the science and math club. They, I mean Joseph and Tin. They were my kind of bffs but Joseph is like my brother and tin is just my friend. You get that point? Anyway, so they signed me up without my word and they even assigned me as the secretary, buti na lang mas gusto ni Maam Badet si Tin so, even. (Hahah)

Katabi ko nun si Justine na valedictorian namin since kinder(consistent).

"Hi?" He told me. Which was utterly surprising. Ayaw ko kasi sa kanya. Hindi ko siya feel. Sobrang mysterious kasi.

When I looked at him, he wasn't looking at me instead he was writing notes. Reminder na may meeting every friday next month sa science and math club. Nerd stuff.

I nodded which I know hindi niya nakita so umalis na lang ako. Besides, Joshua's looking for me.

I hurriedly went to the canteen only to find out na kumakain na sila and I am not.

"Pakyu guys sabi ko sainyo bilhan niyo ko e."

Sinuntok ko sa braso si Joshua na umubo-ubo kunwari pero nakangiti.

"Guys, I have news."

"Siguraduhin mo lang na pwedeng magtrending yan kung hindi malilintikan ka sa akin." I said habang nagiisip kung anong kakainin.

"Pinopormahan ni Justine si Cara. Omg!"

Napa-"WTF" kami ni Josh(joshua).

"Impossible!" Joshua said.


"Oh please Tin! That's so ridiculous."

"GUYS! I'M TELLING YOU THE TRUTH."

Umalis na lang ako dahil sobrang gutom na ako.

Physics Class. We were in the laboratory doing some experiment when Maam Badet told us that Kris is not going anymore to school which leads me having Justin as my lab partner. Siya kasi yung dating lab partner ni Kris tapos ako nakikisali lang sa isang group. Now, horay may lab partner na ako. Tsk.

He was there sitting alone doing things na siya lang nakakalam.

"Hi lab partner." Surprisingly, he nodded.

Yabang talaga.

"Now we're even." Ngumiti sya sa akin na parang first time ko siyang nakitang ngumiti. Yung todong ngiti.

I was taken aback.

"You're probably wondering. But yeah I saw you in my peripheral vision."

"I'm not. Wondering." I seriously don't want a lab partner. I can do this by myself. Besides teachers can guide us. Why not individually, right?

Justine Villanueva. 5"9' tall, has a very soft white skin (I accidentaly touched him once), broad shoulders, brown eyes (josh told me), and soft red lips( this time halata na). He is a consistent valedictorian and his parents are doctors.

He has one sister named Katherine and my sister is close with her. I have two siblings; 1 brother named Ken and 1 little sister named Ariane.

I gulped when he looked at me. "Baka gusto mo kong tulungan?"

Wow. "You're not even asking."

Aba may attitude. Kahit na classmates ko siya mula kinder, I didn't know this is his matured personality.

"I asked you like 5 minutes ago upon coming here. Bu then you were there sulking, wanted to go away and befriend no one. Do you seriously want that?"

"I was not sulking. I just don't appreciate the idea of lab partner."

"Really? You don't need me?" He laughs. "Having me as a partner is a pleasure. You're welcome by the way." He then put on his mask and entirely ignore me again.

"Psychopath."

Pe is our last subject. Basketball is our game today. We just need to shoot the ball for like two times and the teacher scores us.

I was there laughing with Josh when Justin came, "Message me on facebook for our compiled activities a while ago."

And just like that he walked away. He doesn't even bother to hear my answer. Freak.

"Alam mo ba, sabi ni Daniel sa'kin narinig niya si Cara na pupunta sila ni Justine ng The Exit mamaya. Curious ka rin di ba? Tara?"

"50/50." I said habang tinitingnan ko yung watch ko.

"What the hell, Andy. Anong 50/50 ka jan!"

"Yes and no. Yes in a way na seryoso may nagugustuhan si Justine and No in a way wag na anong mapapala ko."

"Di ba crush mo si Justine nung gradeschool? Binigyan mo pa nga siya ng chocolate e. Laughtrip!"

"Pakyu."

"Pakyu too. Sige na please?"

"Type mo si Cara no?" Tumingin naman siya sa iba tapos umubo.

"Hindi, baliw!"

Siguraduhin mo lang. Ugh, bakit ba ako ganito.

"Lul alam ko type mo."

"Please?" Aray.

"Leche ka talaga!"

"Yes!"

Nakita ko si Josh papuntang classroom, gugulatin ko sana kaso ako pa ata yung nagulat.

He was talking to Cara. Legit. May gusto nga ang kupal. Bothered by his smile, I was surprised nung biglang may nagsalita sa likod ko.

"Bestfriendzoned?"

Upon hearing Justine's voice, I stiffed.

"You look surprise? You didn't expect him liking someone like Cara, right?"

"What the hell are you talking?"

"Don't worry, Cara likes someone else."

Just when he was about to call for Cara, he added "And yes I am taking her at The Exit. You can go with us if you like to?"
