Chapter 3
It was a silent ride there, for some reason. Once we got there we oth sat in the car for a minute. Both just staring ahead. Finally Dustin said, "So... What movie are we gunna see?" I gave him a puzzled look.
"Uh... You asked me this like three an a half hours ago...."
He looked embaressed.
"Sorry... I spaced...."
We got out of the car and walked slowly, into the movie theatere. We got up to the desk where we buy the tickets. Dustin looked at all the movies playing and said, "Two tickets to.... Uh... Zombie Kill 3...."
I looked at him wierdly. 'Zombie Kill 3'?That movie is the opposite of what I wanted to see... ZK3 is like blood and killing, and what I wanted to see was... A musical....great. Already this date was going terrible. We went an he bought us popcorn and each a water. We walked into the theatre. They handed us each a pair of 3D glasses. We walked in and sat in the back. As soon as we sat down he said, "Uh... need anything else?"
I NEEDED to go see another movie.... But I said, "No I'm fine..." We both sat back and the movie started. I didn't bother putting my glasses on. It was gross as it was. I still can't believe I sat threw five minutes of that movie. I leaned into Dustin and said, "I have to go to the bathroom, I'll be right back." I got up and walked out of the theatre as fast as possible. I went to the bathroom. When I got out of the stall I went to wash my hands. When I turned around to get a paper towel, a strange girl was staring at me.
"Is there something you want?"
She still was staring at me.
"Im Nikki. Do you know where he was Tuesday night?" I looked at her strangly. She must have been that girl who passed me the note on the bus.
"I don't happen to know... Why do you ask?"
She glared at me.
"He was on another date."
I was surprised. Was he just pretending to like me?
"Sure..... He uh.... He... Told me...."
"He did? Oh then you know.... Never mind then."
She walked out casually. I figured she didn't care, or was still jealous. So I went back to the movie. My plan was to jump into Dustin's arms at one scary part which won't be hard to find. So mabey then he'll kiss me. I walked back into the theatre. I found Dustin and went and cuddled next to him. Well cuddled as much as you can in a movie theatre. He seemed happier now that i was in his strong arms. He was actually smiling. I looked up at him. And he looked at me to. We both smiled and we both started to lean in. Slowly. Then I felt his soft, cherry falvored lips, touch mine. I crossed one more thing off my list. Yes! I was so happy. We held it for 5 seconds until we both pulled away. We cuddled more, and watched the movie. For some reason the movie didn't seem so bad after that. After two bags of popcorn, three waters, and a trip to the bathroom, we left. We laughed and talked on the way out, while holding hands. Once we got in the car I said,
