11:11 (Korean Horror Story)

11:11

My heart nearly had a heart attack because of those rumbling thunders outside. As I am reading my favorite book while sitting on my bed, I could feel how strong the wind outside is. I could tell it by the curtains, on how it's flowing hastily because of the strong wind outside.

I closed my eyes for a while and yawned. "It's getting late." I said to myself as I glanced at the clock beside me. It says 11:11.

~Krrriiiiing~

I quickly picked up my phone which is just placed beside the clock. I rolled my eyes as soon as I saw who the caller is.

"Why would she call me up this late?" I sighed and said to myself before answering my phone.

"Hello? Eunha?" I said to her on the phone. At first it gave me chills because she is not answering and all I could hear is the rain outside. Woah, wait, is she outside?

"Yah! Will you speak up?" I rolled my eyes. "You're being a creep again." I said to her.

"Ri An.." Finally! She spoke.. but her voice gave me chills again. Does she catched a cold or something?

"Yes. Why do you call? I already told you.. don't speak to me again. I.. I am not your friend anymore." I closed my eyes. We shouldn't be friends with each other. But.. it hurts me. It hurts for me to say those words to my bestfriend.

"I'm outside your gate. Come out, Ri An. Just for this time, please." I opened my eyes. What the hell is she doing outside?! It's raining hard outside and it's already late for God's sake!

"Are you crazy? Why would I go outside? It's rainin-"

"Please." My heart melted when I heard a sob. "Please Ri An, I need you." She's crying again. Oh shit.

I sighed. "Alright! I'm coming outside, wait for me." I closed the book I'm reading and picked up my phone then went outside my room. I brought an umbrella outside.

As I opened the gate I saw Eunha standing right infront of me. Her clothes was drenched with the rain and her face was so pale. Her appearance now reminded me of what happened to her last time when the other girls poured a pail of water on her.

"Ri An." She called me, and I can see tears running down from her jaded eyes. I came closer to her and shed my umbrella to the two of us.

"W-why come this late? What happened?" I asked but she didn't answer, she just kept on crying. "D-did you get bullied again in your new school?" I asked again but this time I turned my eyes away from her. I can't stand looking at her while asking this question. Who am I to asked her that when I know to myself that I'm part of those girls who bullied her in her former school? Uhh. You're such a crap Ri An.

After that question, she cried harder and I was surprised because she hugged me suddenly. I could feel her wetness while she's hugging me but I just ignored that.

"Ri An, I need you." She said while hugging me. I bit my lower lip to prevent myself from crying.

"Shhh.." I pat her head to stop her from crying.

~Krrriiiiing~

I felt the buzz of my phone in my pocket. Someones calling again. Ugh. Who is it this time?

Eunha and I parted our embrace and she let me took my phone out of my pocket. "Who is it?" She asked so I took a glance on my phone to see who the caller is.

"Oh, it's your mom." I looked at Eunha. Crazy girl! Maybe her mom is so worried about her now. "Yah! You always make your mom worry." I said to her while pouting. I answered the call.

"Hello. Don't worry, Eunha is--"

"Eunha.. My poor Eunha!" My whole system wandered when I heard Mrs. Shin (Eunha's Mother) cried.

"W-why?"

"My poor Eunha! She's dead." Shit. My eyes grew bigger and my heart stopped. My whole world stopped.

"B-but she's here.." I said to myself.

"W-what? Hello? No.. Eunha's dead.. Hello Ri An?" I completely ignored Eunha's mom's call. My hands are shaking and I already dropped the umbrella I'm holding. I kept my eyes on the ground, I covered my mouth and the tears started to run down from my eyes. I can't believe what Eunha's mother just said to me a while ago.

"Ri An.." I can't move my body when I heard her voice called me. It's like I wanted to run away from her but there's something in me that wants to know if all of this is true.

Little by little, I looked up to her and I screamed as I saw her face turned into a scary one. Her eyes are so deep and there are bloods on her uniform.

"Aaahh!!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs when she came closer to me. I suddenly felt that something went inside me and from there, my eyes closed.
