Its summer time ,(2005) family vacation in a beach resort of Batangas (Philippines) while sitting on a white sand and enjoying the beautiful sun set that I ever seen , a flying ball hit me and distract me on my moment, a man approach me and ask “hey , are you ok!” I am still dizzy and hearing a ring inside my ear, I simply ignored that man and just walk away. While walking going to my room I heard my brother yelling “sister were here , and we are about to take our dinner…” then I saw my mom and dad waving their hands on me, I walk and join them, but still I feel dizzy , my dad ask me “whets wrong and what happened to your head” I just stand and ask “ I need to go wash room and I just wash my hands so that we can eat” without any notice I hit a person while standing up, and the glass of juice spill all over me and it is the same man who hit me the ball “It’s you again… ugh…” and he smiled and looking at me “ oh you again , are you ok!!” I feel hideous and my body still wet with that juice, I just walk away and clean up myself.
On the next day I decided to have a sun bathing to relax and enjoy the sweet sun, suddenly a person fall all over me , then I notice it is the same man who hit me a ball and spill juice on me “ it’s you again…. Hey I am so sorry , I did not meant to hurt you , I am trying to catch the frees bee, are you ok” then I said “ do I look ok, hey you already hit me three times, so please be careful next time …” then I turn my back in him and went swimming and to be away from him. While I enjoy Deeping on water, I feel something on my right leg , I feel pain and its crams and I can’t swim back, instead of pushing myself to swim again I shout and scream for help. A man came and help me, then I notice it’s him the man who made my day awful the he ask me “are you ok. You scram so loud for help, are you ok? Are you in trouble or something…” then I said “I feel so much pain on my right leg and I can’t swim back so that I scream out loud…” he help me and asking to rest my leg “hey just stretch it … and do not force to move…. Are you still in pain????” he asked me, then I answered “ yes , I am” then he introduce himself “ by the way I am john, and you are” as I answered “ I am lei…. Aaawwww!!!!” And still feel the pain on my leg. “hey you still feel the pain” he asked me “yes I am…” john why you jump into the water so fast and help me???” I asked him “lei you only few meters away from me and I seen you needing a help that is why I jumped and helped you.” Smiling at me “so how do you feel “ he ask me “ well I still feel pain “ looking back to him. “ you mind if I walk with you going to your room so that you can take rest…” he said “ no I am fine here I am waiting for my family to come here and join me, if you want to go you can go , I am fine he, and thank you john for helping me…” then he stand and said “ ok! I think your good now, and I should go my friend is waiting for me, nice meeting you lei!!!” we shake hands and smile on each other. Lunch time same day, my family are done eating and leave me alone on out table , but I am just enjoying my ice cream, then john tap onto my shoulder. “Hi lei where are the others???” I look at him and said “oh hi. Well they leave me alone and who’s with you” smiling “were on that table and that is Marcus my friend and what about you where are they” smiling and still enjoying my ice cream “ well mom and dad they are out there maybe swimming and my brother maybe walking and enjoying the view…’ then suddenly my brother came and ask the key “ sister can I have the key I need to get some towels…” my brother looking at john while talking to me, then john said “ umm I go now, bye….” Then my brother asked me “ sister who is he?” and I answered “ nothing just a man that I meet and cause so much trouble to me…” then my brother said “ oh the man who spill you the juice last time , I remember you looks that day” laughing and still joking to me. Afternoon while walking on shore and feeling the breeze. I seen john throwing pebbles on vacant shore then I tap him, but I was shocked on his reaction on me. His close fist pointing on me then I ask “hey it’s me lei, what’s wrong?” and he said “ I am sorry lei, I taught you’re the gay who is so crazy and asking me to join him for a while, I am so sorry about it…” but on my mind I guess he is upset or something is wrong…. “Are you ok… I know sometimes I look like a gay but I am not! I am a lady…” then he smiled “see I love that smile, what you are doing here….” He said “nothing just making myself not to be boring… here try …” I joined him and it is fun, while tossing those pebbles we had a talk. “Lei I want to know more about you….” I was shocked “ok. Ask me what you want to know…” then he look at me and throw the pebbles. “Ok let’s play a game every pebble that we throw, we ask questions…. Is that good…” me smiling at on it, “ok and that would it be fun!!!! And I start” I throw the pebbles and ask him, “ john what brings you here in Philippines?” he answered, “ well I am just on 15 days vacation from my duty, and I chose Philippines coz some of my friends telling me that Philippines is a paradise.” The he ask me some questions, “what about you lei how is your life here, are you student or something?” I answer, I a student nursing, I am in 3rd year to be exact this coming June, I enjoy my life being alone and watching movies…” looking at him and ask “what about you” he answered me “ I also love movies but in my case movies are out of line, what I usually seen on my field is tears, blood and lots of dead body…” now I am confuse about this man, “john who are you, you are so mysteries person for me, and what was the blood dead and tears means….” He answered me and now I am amaze about this man in front of me, “lei I am a marine, a special force to be exact and I am base in Afghanistan, I hope you know about it. Lei my life everyday is not the same with you, I usually walk and expect the unexpected in front of me, le I love movies but the every scene that I usually seen is not the same as movies…” after that he throw a pebble and ask me a question, “lei do you have any special someone coz if he will knew about this your dead…” I just laugh and giggled about his questions, then suddenly his friend yelling on him and running, “hey Marcus. What’s going on, “ as he shout , and Marcus his friend looking at me then he said “buddy I just receive a call from Capt. Morgan he said we need to go back in base in 48 hours, body Capt. will call in 5 min we need to pack…. Come on hurry… “ and he look at on me and said “ lei I am so sorry I need to go, but I had fun this day, I try to catch you up later… I am sorry I really need to go…” he run away and I know it is urgent and I understand all about it, now it is sun set and I am alone staring on her again,
