Falling Apart

Chapter 1

"Finally it's summer holidays" I say as we hop on the train to Miami "no more homework or exams"
"Yeah but it's only for eight weeks" Alexis said.
"But eight weeks is a long time, anything could happen" I said.
We walk down the center of the train looking for some empty seats, we find four empty seats at the back of the carriage.
"So, what are we going to do these holidays" Alice asked
"Maybe we could stay at the beach house" Max suggested
"yeah that would be fun" I said.

The train ride takes forever, but finally the two hour trip is over and we are standing at the Miami train station waiting to be picked up.

"Ugh, Mum's taking forever and there's no wifi" Alice complains
"Alice stop complaining we're on summer holidays so let's make the most of them" I say
"But I can't get onto snapchat" she whines, "and snapchat is my life"

I hear the honking of a car and turn around to see our shiny black mercedes waiting to pick us up.
"Come on guys" Max shouts, "the cars here"We all pile into the back seat and Murray (our driver) starts the car and begins to drive towards our house.
"Hi darlings how was school" Mum asks as soon as we're all seated and buckled in.
"It was fine" I sighed
"It was great" Alexis says
"I agree with Clementine" both Max and Alice say at the same time.

I stare out the window as we drive down our street, right down the end of the street is our house. Our House is the biggest house on the street, it has seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms. As well as a kitchen, living room, office, dining room, rumpus room and indoor swimming pool. The outside of our house is a pale creamy white colour that looks a bit like sand, our house has three storeys plus the basement.

We drive through the gates at the front of the house - they're electrical gates - we go straight up to our garage. Murray walks around to open our doors "welcome home" he says as we jump out the car and run straight to our bedrooms.

That night at dinner I decided to ask Mum if we could stay at the beach house for a couple of days.
"Mum" I said
"Yes darling" she replies
"Can we stay at the beach house for a couple of days, Please" I begged
"Sure, just as long as you don't drink or have any boys over" she says
"Oh but that's no fun" Alice buts in
"Alice" Mum says in a stern voice, while staring at her
"We'll be good I promise" I say quickly.
