Chapter 2: Appearance

Although Dib begrudgingly helped the green-skinned kid up, Zim growled in warning, making Dib flee. He picked what was left of his papers up and went inside, relying on the computer to clean up. He slumped onto the sofa and leafed through the remaining sheets. Nothing important, clearly. To Zim's annoyance, the tests he actually needed were soaking in muddy puddles. "Shit..." he mumbled to himself- truly he couldn't care less about human grades, but he was terrified of being kicked out of Hi Skool- Zim wasn't sure why yet, even though the school was like hell, there was a reason why he went there... Why did he even bother? If he left then Dib would finally leave him alone.

Zim decided he was over-thinking and sighed, picking up his silver little robot, G.I.R. He used the elevator down to the basement and sat, activating the annoying assistant. The invader lay back in his seat and eyed the screen- A notification popping up on the side of the screen, it read: ''[Appearance Update Needed]' Of course, Zim remembered that humans change. Most of the students in his class were getting taller and even more disgusting. Dib hadn't changed much apart from his height and the weird spike thing in his hair's- was that even natural?

Somehow, Zim was slightly scared of the younger human- His hair looked like it could stab someone for sure and then there was the fact he kept following Zim around and he knew exactly how to stop all of the invader's plans. Zim rolled his eyes- The damned humans, they made him over-think all the time. He supposed it was natural for them and chose his appearance. Not much had changed from his first disguise other than the clothing, length of hair and how tall he was. His hair now was slightly fluffier, with a dark green thing that looked almost like a spiky sort of spider on it. His clothing was slightly darker- Just to fit in with the weird freaks around school.
