Somebody to Love [M. Shadows]

Chapter 1

When soon arrived in San Francisco. My dad woke me up just as we entered the state, giving me time to wake up before we had to get to work.

'So what time are you on at?' I asked my father stepping of the bus after him.

'We are set for 6pm.'

'Awesome does that mean I get to go watch some bands?'

'Well of course,it's one of the reasons I thought you would like to come.' he grinned I hugged him

'So what do we do now?'

'Walk around, meet some fans and other bands, meet us back at the bus for :30 to help set up.' he told me I nod and walk around with him for a while.

As we walked around we were approached by several fans of my dads, he took pics with those who wanted and sighed things for others. And each time he got asked for a pic he asked if they minded his daughter joined in. it was fun but very embarrassing. None of them seemed to mind, most seemed thrilled to have met me.

'Oh my god, no freaking way.' I said stopping dead in my tracks.

'What?' my dad stopped and looked back at me before following my gaze. Where I saw a group of men.

'Come on I will introduce you.' he grinned my eyes went wide and I hurried to catch up. As we approached the band I got a bunch of butterflies in my stomach.

'Hey fellas' my dad greeted them.'

'Alice nice to see you again.' Corey freaking Taylor said hugging my dad. 'And who is this?'

'This is Roxie Rose my second eldest daughter, she is a fan so I said I would introduce her, hope that's okay.'

'Roxie Rose nice to meet you.' Corey said hugging me. I thought I was going to pass out.

'Y- you too.' 'Sorry trying hard not to fan girl on you right now, I just love you guys so much, and please call me Rox or just Roxie only he gives me my full name.' I grin Corey laughed as the others introduced themselves to me,

'It's great to meet you Roxie, can I expect to see you watching our set?'

'Do bears shit in the wood?' I laughed as did he.

'Great well, we are actually on soon, if you wanna come with us we can slip you into the front row?' he offered my eyes went wide.

'Do you mind dad?' I asked h shooed me away but not before calling out a reminder to meet him back at the bus by 5:30.

I followed the guys to the second stage and as he said he would Corey arranged for me to be placed up front. I couldn't believe this, first day and I was already having the time of my life. They started the set of with one of my favourite songs, My Plague. I sang along and just got completely lost in the moment. I didn't even care I was alone. After that they placed heretic anthem then wait and bleed, Corey spoke to the crowd between each song as anyone who has seen them live knows he does.

'Are you fucking ready, because this is the NEW ABORTION' he called out before the song began.

Singing alone happily I failed to notice that Orianthi had appeared next to me, she nudged me, with a smile on her face I laugh and continue singing lone with Corey.

But it wasn't long until the set was over and the next band was ready to play which was bleeding through, I wasn't a huge fan of theirs so I decided to try and get out of this crowd, but when I turned I realised their was no way on hell I was getting out. It was then I heard my name being called out and I turn to see Corey offering me his hand, I take it and he pulled me up then got him to pull Ori out too. I thanked him before telling him how much I loved the set. He thanked me and offered us to hang back stage. I thanked him for his offer but I wanted to check the other stages out, but maybe later if I saw them going about. He informed me he might not be in mask because soon he would be joining the stone sour guys. We said our goodbyes and Ori and I headed off to check the main stage.
