A bright smile lit up her face as she saw that one boy she loved so much, her brother. Greg opened his arms, waiting to be tackled by his younger sister, which she gladly did.

"I missed you so much, Greg" Claire mumbled into his chest. A laugh erupted from Greg's mouth, "I missed you too, Clairebear". A blush flooded her pale cheeks. She looked up from her brothers chest and playfully glared at him. A mischievous glint glazed his eyes, "What?" he asked as innocently as he could. "Don't call me Clairebear!" she hissed, pure amusement filled her voice.

While they were bickering, many people stopped and stared. Older people chuckled and laughed at their bickering, others smiling. A few of them thinking, 'Are they dating?' but no, just brother and sister.

Her mother, Deborah, and her father, Clarence, finally arrived the scene, smiles intruded their faces as well. "Greg!" her mother cried, tears flooding her eyes. Claire pulled away from Greg, just missing being trampled by her crying mother. She stepped back and smiled up at her father, "I'm glad we moved to California".

The time came when Claire had to go to school, since they haven't registered her yet, her mother was tagging along also.

"Hurry up, Claire! We don't want to be late!" her mother called up the stairs. "Just a minute!" Claire yelled back. Her mother sighed and turned around, heading to the kitchen to make some toast.

Claire frantically threw around her clothes, searching for something to where. After a few minutes of searching, she ended up wearing a sky blue chiffon mid sleeve shirt, denim shorts, and her brown sandals.

She stared at her reflection, not really liking what she looked like, 'Oh well, I'll deal with that later' she thought. Claire pulled down her shorts a bit and straightened her top.

Once she finished, Claire opened her bedroom door and ran down the stairs, almost tripping over her feet. Her mother shook her head at her daughter, "Come on" she prodded impatiently. Claire grumbled and grabbed her bag off of the shoe rack and took the two pieces of toast her mother made.
