My name is Rachel, but my mother calls me Miracle, and that's for three reasons.
The first reason is because she was told she would never have me. No woman in my family has ever had a baby. There's this rare hereditary condition in my family that makes it impossible for them to have babies but miraculously she had ME! My mother was the first woman to ever have a baby in my family, and soon after, she had another, my sister Sophie.
The second reason is because when I was born, I was given a 2% chance of survival. I have this rare disease with my heart that makes it beat with abnormal rythems and there's no symptoms so it's mostly undetected, but luckily they found it in me before it was too late.
The third and final reason is because my life is just full of miracles anyway! Everyday has a miracle different and better than the last.
