I ran. That's the only thing I could do right now. My mom's screams became louder and louder while those men tortured her. My long, red hair flew behind me and my white, pale eyes couldn't stop the uncontrollable red tears. I stopped running and looked up at a tall tree. Behind it, there where more trees. With a swift movement, they separated, making a small path for me.

I continued running. As I ran, the trees behind me closed the path that I already passed, making it impossible for the queen's solders to follow me. They want us all dead for the bad deeds we did. They ware't really bad. We needed to survive. Hunger led us to stealing. Stealing led to execution. That's what happened to the others. Me and my mom escaped through.

The path led to a clearing. I looked around for another opening. There was one on my right and one on my left. I had to be quick and choose. I panicked and fell on my knees. I looked down at my necklace that mom gave me. It had the sign that was named after me. Aries. If you looked closely, you could tell it represented a ram's head. I smiled and looked up. I stood up, fixed my pastel pink dress and ran to my left.

I jumped up the tree roots and crossed the small tree bridge. The sky was red and the water was purple this time of the day. Beautiful. I stopped to catch my breath. I leaned on a tree and closed my eyes. I stood quietly and used my deer ears to hear. Good, they lost me. My ears jerk up because they heard leaves crunching. My eyes widen in fear and I took my fight position. I slowly spin to check in every direction. My ears jerk up again. That thing is getting closer.

I suddenly get thrown back by something heavy. I push it of and roll to the other side. Dirt got in my eyes thus I couldn't see a thing. I got up, blinded by the dirt, and attacked the thing. What I heard was a girl's scream. I got up and adjusted my vision. It did burn, but I've been through worse. I saw a girl, with long horns sticking out of he skull. Her hair where neon orange tied in a braid. She was protecting her face with her light, peachy skin. She was waiting for a punch. At last, she slowly removed her arms and opened one of her eyes. When she saw me she quickly covered her face again and yelped.

"Don't worry I won't hurt you," I muttered. She took her hands of her face once again and opened her eyes. They were a beautiful orange. She didn't smile, just stared, "It's not nice to stare, you know," I continued. She blushed.

"S-Sorry," She gulped, "It's just that your eyes are blank. Why is that?"

"That's non of your business," I snapped. She looked away and got up. She rocked back and forth, clearly feeling uncomfortable, "Guess I'll be going now."

She turned her head to look at me. She frowned.

"No please. I have no one here in the woods. It's Lonely," she started, "My name is Taurus. My sign represents the bull! What about you?," she asked.

"Aries. The ram," I hissed. I don't know why I am being such a jerk, she didn't do anything bad to me.

"That's just lovely! I am starving! You want to come over to my place?," she continued. Her eyes where filled with joy. Did she not suffer from the queen?, "Maybe we can talk like normal friends! Yes!"

She reached out for my hand and grabbed it. She ran and pulled me with her. I ran to, because truth is, I am pretty hungry myself too. I looked ahead and saw a cute little brick house. Outside there were flowers. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. I smiled at the scenery. She opened the door and walked in. I followed after her and looked around. Everything was lovely.

I sat down on the orange couch and took a small chocolate heart from the plate that was on the table. It was delicious! I took more and stuffed them in my mouth. The ones that fell on my lap, I took them and stuffed them in my dress pockets for later.

While I was doing all this, Taurus was making tea for us. As she was doing that, she hummed the melody of a song that I didn't know. She turned around with two cups of tea and a smile on her face. Her smile soon dropped as she noticed all her chocolate was missing. My eyes widened remembering that she was hungry too. I reached for the chocolate in my pockets and placed them back on the plate. She looked a bit disgusted but took one anyways. Her smile returned and handed me the cup filled with tea.
