"Naruto- honey! Come back here!" Kushina shouted after Naruto as she finished placing all the dishes in the sink. Her long crimson hair was put up in a pony tail that swished every time she walked fast and a sweat slid down her temple. She went after Naruto, carrying something in her hand.

Naruto sighed and stopped himself before he went out the door to school. He turned around, a miffed expression on his face to see his mom holding out something in her hands. His eyes widened.

"I knitted this for you, I want you to wear it..." Kushina placed a multicoloured cap with hanging pom-poms and jingle bells in Naruto's hands, looking at him expectantly.

Naruto stared down at it and thought that it was beautifully hand knitted but..

"Seriously mom? I am not a child anymore" Naruto sighed looking at his mom.

Kushina just folded her arms. "Wear it" She commanded.

Naruto bit his lip before sullenly pulling the hat down on his head, the jingle bells moving freely. He felt a pink blush rest on his cheeks and he quickly went out the door, walking to school fast, and pulling on the pom-poms to try and hide his face.

Ino passed by her mom, a slice of toast in her hand. "Wow.." She said, her eyes staring at the hat.

"What?" Kushina looked at her daughter, "Do you want one too?"

Ino just quickly went out of the door, her answer an obvious no,  and followed her brother who was walking away fast. "Wait up!" She called out.

Kushina sighed bitterly and closed the front door after Ino.

"I fucking hate that teacher, what its name- Ms.fuckingJackass"

Naruto chuckled in response, smiling at his friend Choji, watching him get pissed off. Choji was the same age as Naruto, but much stronger looking and confident. Thats one of the reasons Naruto looked up to him.

"Yeah, me too" Naruto agreed, "She always picks on you too"

Choji looked back at Naruto as they stopped at his locker to put his books away. "You've noticed? That witch always try's to make it look like I was the one who did something bad"

"Choji!" Both heads snapped towards a voice only to see Choji's girlfriend running towards him. She wrapped an arm around Choji's and looked up at him, her eyes sparkling with love. Naruto had wondered if Sakura would ever look at him like that. Naruto looked at Choji with envy.

"Let's go!" She whined, "I don't want to miss the show!"

"Well," Choji chuckled, "I've got to go Naruto, I'll talk to you later!"

"Yeah.." Naruto mumbled and like that, both figures were gone.

Naruto sighed and shut his locker, putting all his books in his bag to leave and go home- until she showed up. Naruto's cheeks pinked and he turned back to his locker as soon as Sakura went to hers, only three lockers away.
