Niall P.O.V

They were shocking her back to life, but yet nothing no beat on the monitor. Nothing just the faint sound of people moving around. And then there was the noise of the door swinging open and someone running in my direction. I looked up my vision all blurry, but I could tell by the hair that is was Harry.

"Mate, whats going on?" Harry said looking so sad.

"S-s-she's dying and I cant do anything." I screamed at him.

"Niall who is you haven't even told me about her?" Harry replies holding my shoulder and giving Mollie and I a hug.

"That is Philippa lying there, she is my best friend." Mollie replied just before I could.

Mollie's P.O.V

Harry came running in through the door and came straight to us. Everything is a bit of a to be honest, I don't really remember fully what was being said but then I heard Harry was asking Niall what was going on so I replied.

I hated hearing the noise of the doctors shouting for everyone to stay clear and then watching them put the paddles on Philippa's lifeless body, only to see her body then arch up from the shock they gave her but only to hear nothing. Not one heart beat just silence it killed me so much to see her like this. Why didn't she ever tell me about her stepmum I could have done something to help, we are like family.

"I'm sorry but I am going to have to ask you to wait outside please." The nurse told us. I didn't want to leave but I knew that it wouldn't help them if I refused.

Harry stood up first and put out his hand for me to grab to help me stand to my feet. I got up and I could see all the cuts and scars on Philippa's body from when she was cutting and probably what her stepmum had done to her as well. Seeing that and her body so lifeless and cold made me break down again this time I feel into Harry's arms and just cried.

I walked out of the room and back into the long white corridor with Harry still comforting me and Niall was on my other side still sobbing. Watching my best friend die in front of me has to be the worse thing I have had to see in my entire life. After what seemed for years a nurse and a doctor finally came to see us.

"I'm happy to say that Philippa has come back, but sadly she is in a very critical condition." The doctor said.

"Thanks, when can I see her?" I ask. I really do want to see her now that I know she is actually got a chance of living. I just want to know what has happened to her all this time.

"Give us five minutes just so we can get her up to ICU and then I will take you all to her." The nurse says, with a  smile on her face.

"Thanks." I replied.

Harry's P.O.V

This is one seriously confusing day I have gone from just chilling watching TV at home to being sat on a cold hospital floor with Niall and Mollie who  I guess he just met. With them both crying on my shoulders. I asked what was going on but they were both hysterical to answer properly but all I do know is that Mollie's friend was dying in front of our eyes and it was killing Mollie so much to watch that.

I was trying so hard to cover the sight of what was going on by hugging her but I knew it wouldn't work. After we got pushed out of the room. I knew I should try and calm them both down. This will be interesting seen as I don't know Mollie that well, well I don't know her at all to be honest and the only way to cheer Niall up is by food and your not allowed it in the emergency area.

"Niall mate, please tell me what is going on?" I ask him still hugging Mollie with one arm and rubbing Niall's back with the other.

"I was walking down the street when I could see Philippa and Mollie walking towards me. I could see Philippa look healthy she looked so ill and scary looking like she hadn't eaten properly or cared for. I literally put my head down for a second and then the next thing I know I bumped into her we both fell to the floor but when I looked again Mollie was gone. I asked what was going on and all Philippa said was that she was homeless." Niall replied seeming like he was running out of breath from crying and talking too fast.
