9 years ago I, Alice Dumbledore, was born. Mum died at giving birth a year later to what would have been my brother. Would have been. Anyway, the past is the past and the present is much more important, as my dear father an hour ago said. For the slow minded, I'm the daughter of the famous headmaster, Albus Dumbledore. Dad told me to call him dad instead of 'Professor Dumbledore' because to a stranger it would seem as if I was the slave of my father.
Well, I am not.
Dad does a lot for me and I love him for being him. He always makes sure I am not bored, which is not difficult when you live at Hogwarts, the school where a lot of young wizards attend at. They of course are not young seeing my age, but let's just skip that part. I am currently sitting at Gryffindor's table, but that differs every meal. I eat together with all the students and may sit where I choose to, but I never sit at Slytherin's table. I once did but they all laughed at me and were humiliating me so I didn't dare to sit there anymore. Another reason is just that the other houses are much more kind, so why would I want to sit with bullies?
The school bell rings, which means that all students will be entering the Great Hall any time now. The first one to greet me is Fred Weasley, a popular second year. He loves pulling pranks together with his identical twin brother George. Almost no one knew who was Fred and who George, but I did. Fred had other shoes. Am I not a genius? I think so. Anyway, I am Fred and George's partner in crime, I always help them because:
1. If something goes wrong I could always say it's my fault, teachers love me and they won't dare giving me detention because they knew what Dumbledore did to the DADA teacher a few years ago. (A story I might later on explain).
2. I just like pulling pranks.
'Good to see you Al, still alive?' Fred says. I smile, thinking of what we did earlier this morning, we threw water balloons at first years. Unfortunately, dad saw me and he had a talk with me. I thought I was in trouble but dad told me to tell the twins that Molly was coming for a visit this in an houe, who's their mother, for something which is still a surprise. He then said I needed to hide better, with a twinkle in his eyes. I then could leave. When I told Fred he thanked me for the information and he ran away, just to tell George or probably to stop another prank. These kids were the Prank Kings, seriously. When George and Fred were gona Angelina went to talk to me, but she's very boring. I don't get she has got friends.
As soon as I could without insulting her I left the table and went to my table. Behind my father's big, almost throne thing where he sits, he had a table and comfortable chair, for when I didn't want to sit with other students. I asked Pattie, an house elf, for some toast with peanut butter. A minute later it arrived, and I said 'Thanks Pattie, say hi to the rest and tell them I'll come for a visit this afternoon!' The house elves liked me so whenever I visited I got a lot of food. In exchange I told them stories which they always liked. When Pattie left, I ate my toast and when I was finished I turned my chair around. Dad wasn't here so I sat down on his chair. No one found this strange because I use to do it everyday. On the left side of me Professor Flitwick was in a conversation, but McGonagall, who sits on the right side of me wasn't.
I talked with her about he subject, Transfiguration, which was one of the subjects that I like the most. I am already ahead of the third years, although I have no wand. Each afternoon and morning I play Quidditch or I study. Most of the time I study, unless the twins go with me to play Quidditch. I liked to Chase and they both were Beaters. Oliver Wood told me that as soon as I am old enough I am good to enter the team. Oliver is another friend of mine, he's very kind but he can only talk about Quidditch. At noon however, I take a break and do nothing. I would walk around and sometimes attend lessons, but not often because I don't have a wand.
I excused me from McGonagall and walked to the library, a place I have learnt to love. In the 8 year I've lived here, at Hogwarts, I've gotten almost all my knowledge from here. Dad used to read me stories but since I can read, he doesn't anymore. I got a Potion's book from a shelf and walked back to Dad's office, from where I could enter my room. I first say the password 'Lime ball' and the gate opens. When I reached his office I hear people talk, so I knock the door politely and wait untill someone answers. 'Alice, dear, come in.' I don't know how but he always seems to know when it's me. I open the door and see two people standing in front of Dad's desk. They've both got ginger hair, so I suppose these are the parents of Fred and George, the only gingers in the whole school.
I walk towards who must be Molly. 'Mrs. and Mr. Weasley, I am Alice, Professor Dumbledore's daughter.' I introduced myself as politely as possible, wanting to set a good first impression. l obviously did because Molly smiled and said 'Hello darling, I heard a lot about you. Just call me Molly please.' I nodded to show that I understood and then her husband, Arthur said something. 'And I am Arthur. I am the father of Bill, Charlie, Fred, George, Ron and Ginny. Although I guess you won't recognize the last two, they are younger.' Gosh, these people were reproductive. But I don't feel the need to tell them. 'Good to meet you, Molly and Mr. Weasley. I will stop interrupting your conversation, I'll be off to Hagrid.' I put the book on dad's desk, smiled one more time at Molly and Arthur and left. The last thing I heard was dad saying 'Isn't she beautiful?' Then I closed the door.
I did as I said and went to Hagrid to drink a cup of tea. When I entered his door he looked happy. 'Alice, long no' seen. Missed ya' lots. Why didn' ya' visit?' It was actually three days since I last visited him, but I use to visit him everyday. I sit down, and start to talk.

This is a short chapter, but this is just the explaining part. Next part will be when she's 11 and goes to class 3. It may seem really strange but it will get clearer! I hoped you liked the first part, but it's not yet spelling checked, so I'm sorry if there are huge spelling mistakes in there. Hoped you enjoyed!
