A/N: Sup goofballs? Hope you're enjoying this story. This'll be a short update.
******************
It was Friday now and I was currently laying in bed with Amanda. I couldn't get my mind off of the damn 19th century envelope. I wanted to know what was inside of it but yeah that didn't go well the last time.
**~Flashback~**
Inspecting the envelope, it felt like I was holding a rare gem or something but honestly I couldn't care less. I just wanted to know what it contains and who wrote it. I didn't have enough time to be patient and not destroy it so I just ripped the side open. A letter was inside, I could tell from the tiny faded black words on the other side of it. I bit my lip in excitement and eagerly took the letter out, throwing the not-so-neat-anymore envelope to the side, carelessly.
"Dear Mrs.Carlyle,
I would like to thank you and the rest of the Carlyle family for accepting me and welcoming me with wide arms. Oh, how I wish I was right there with you at this momen--""CHARLOTTE DREW CARLYLE! WHAT IN GOD'S NAME ARE YOU DOING?!" Mom was shouting at the top of her lungs as she snatched the letter from my hands. She glared at me before taking a deep breath and continuing, "Didn't I teach you manners? If I'd known you'd snoop around my things, I would've locked up all of them."
I rolled my eyes at her faux disappointment, "Calm your tit-- " I choked on my words before clearing my throat and pretending I never said anything. "Calm down, mom. I didn't even get to read all of it. Who is that girl anyway? And why is she thanking us?"
That shut up mom and she seemed to be avoiding my questioning gaze. Oh, something is definitely up. Both dad and mom are acting completely off and I think it's time I figure out all of this bullshit.
"Mom, can you stop finding the floor more interesting and look at me? Is this girl-- if she is a girl-- the same one who is staying at her friend's house?"
"That is no tone to speak to your mother with." She completely dismissed the main topic and glanced at the nonexistent watch on her wrist. "Oh, look at the time, your father is waiting for you. Did you take the shopping list? I suppose yes since you've been here for a while. Get everything I wrote, okay? Bye, dear."
I stared at the door that was just slammed at my face. She literally pushed me out and slammed the door. Wow.

I frowned, remembering I hadn't figured out anything at all till now. Dad is eerily quiet, not that he usually isn't quiet but now it just weird, Mom is all happy-go-lucky and shit, Matt is Matt, and Amanda won't even tell me what my mom said that night. I sighed and snuggled my face deep into Manda's chest.
"Don't enjoy yourself too much there." I could hear the smirk in her voice. So I thought why not. Turning to her neck, I bit it, thinking it's all fun and games but then she let out a small moan. And what does awkward Charlie do in that case? She jumps 10 feet into the air and falls onto her ass.
If I was this embarrassed, I wonder how was Amanda feeling right now?
She cleared her throat as I realised I was staring at her. Her face was tomato red and I couldn't help the small smile that formed on my lips.
"I-- um. W-what was that about?" She squeaked out. Honestly I had no idea why I did that but I can't say that, can I?
I stood up and scratched the back of my neck awkwardly, "I-i was just-- I don't know, I'm sorry?"
As if on cue, the door bursted open and Matt strutted into my room then plopped his ass on my bed, next to Amanda. Me and her stare at each other for a bit before looking back at Matt.
I clear my throat, "Not to be rude or anything but why are you here?"
"I was trying to--" suddenly, he starts coughing. Amanda tries to help by patting his back and he slowly stops, giving her a slight smile before turning back to me. "Sorry, I was choking on the amount of sexual tension between you two."
The room goes silent for a bit before his words finally sink in properly and both me and Amanda instantly blush once again. I can't believe he fucking did that. I pull him up and shove him out the door before shutting it in his face. I guess that runs in the family.
He immediately starts complaining and whining like a 4 year old and trust me, it took a lot not to open the door and get him close enough just so that I can literally slam it on his face.
