Chapter 1

Celestine quietly watch the band as they play their last song. She is on her third bottle of beer and she is about to finish it when a guy behind her approached her. "Happy Birthday Celestine, are you enjoying?"

"I am. Thanks for greeting." She smiled as she raise her bottle as a sign of gratitude.

"By the way, I want to introduce you to my friend's friends out there." Cedrick smiled at her before looking at the guys on stage. "I told them that there is this girl who is having her special day. And it might become even special if Ill introduce them to her."

"Oh c'mon. Hindi na kailangan. Nakakahiya." Kinuha ni Celestine ang kanyang bote at tumayo mula sa bar at naglakad palayo.

"Hahaha come on, Celestine. it would not take so much of their time kaya wag ka na mahiya."

"No, wag na." then she walked towards her friends at the table near the stage to say that she will go ahead.

"Hey, I have to go. Thanks for tonight guys.." She said in gratitude.

"Hi!" Just a split second, as she turn around, a familar face sprout infront of her. And it took her a moment to gather all her senses to respond.

"..Oh hi, ang galing nyo kanina. Nice." She glanced at the guy who is behind the guy who greeted her and saw a smilling Cedrick.

Cedrick come closer to finally introduce her to the guys.

"Hey guys, shes Celestine. Yung nabanggit ko sa inyo kanina. And Celestine, as promised, here they are...... The Petix band. Im sure you know them already, right?" Cedrick smiled and look at her. The silly Cedrick.

"Nice meeting you guys, Im Celestine" She has no idea what has got into her that time but she really felt so nervous.

She has seen this band for many times but it felt so different when they are formally introduced. She cant even find a perfect sentence to say infront of them. She is in awe seeing them this close. But she doesnt want to look obvious.

The band smiled at her and waved theyre hands as Cedrick introduced them.

"Hi Celestine, Im Sebastian Fabiola the vocalist." Iniabot ni Sebastian ang kamay kay Celestine. Agad naman itong inabot ni Celestine with all the humbleness as a sign of their proper introduction, a shake hands. Kaya ganoon nalang ang gulat nya ng halikan iyon ni Sebastian. Naramdaman nya na uminit ang kanyang tenga. Siguradong kung hindi bahagyang madilim ang lugar ay kitang kita na ang pamumula sa mukha niya.

"You're too beautiful to ignore. You standout in the crowd. Alam mo kahit hindi ka ipakilala sa akin ni Ced, lalapitan talaga kita para makipagkilala. But this must be destiny, magkakilala pala kayo." Sebastian said with the most tantalizing eyes he got. At this point Celestine already knew what this guy is up to. She of all people, know how this guy make his way around girls. Little did he know that Celestine is one step ahead of him.

"Seriously? Who are you hitting?" Celestine said while smirking at him.

Sebastian look at her in disbelief of what he just heard. It is his first time to hear this kind of answer from a girl he tries to get.
"Im serious, kanina pa kita pinagmamasdan habang kumakanta ko sa stage."

"Hahaha You must have an excellent set of eyes. If a normal person stood up in a very well lighted place, a stage in particular, the crowd will appear so dark. Unless you let the light spot to them. Not on me Mr. Fabiola. That wont work on me." she responded as cool as she is.

"Hahahaha nice one Celestine!" Said Cedrick and the other band member laugh their hearts out too.

"Hahahaha" Sebastian laughed in unison but... "stop laughing."Sebastian said seriously.

"Ill go ahead. Bye guys and again..... nice meeting you" gamit ang kanyang ngiting tagumpay, lumakad sya sa harap ni Sebastian at iniwan ang mukha nitong hindi maipinta.

"If I were to define Celestine Sofia Medina, hmmmm I cant think of any word to describe you but..... dangerous! Whahahahaha!" Mandy said.

Celestine is talking to Mandy over the phone.
"Hoy Armando Pelayo Jr. stop it. OA ka na."

"Eeeeew, my name is Mandy stop calling me....by that name okay? And besides tama naman ako, dangerous ka girl. Hindi ko na talaga alam kung anong tumatakbo dyan sa isip mo."

"Hahahahaha fine, Mandy na kung Mandy. Alam mo Mandy, I know what I did was not cool. Im not a Saint pero hindi ako uto-uto who would just suck up to what he said. Of all people Mandy but not me."

"Okay okay, pero Im telling you sayang yon teh. Kung hindi ko lang alam na.....tsk tsk tsk. Di ko talaga maunawaan yang takbo ng utak mo. Teka, nasaan ka nga pala? Hinahanap ka ni Jessy."

"Kakalabas ko lang sa office kanina. Nasa coffee shop ako ngayon pero wag na wag mo sa kanya sasabihin kung nasaan ako. Kaya nga ako nagmamadali lumabas dahil iniiwasan ko sya"

"Eh bakit mo iniiwasan? May utang ka ba sa kanya friend? Grabe ka maka ninja-hide ha!"

"Hahaha Gaga, wala kong utang dun noh. Eh sinisent up na naman ako sa isang kakilala nya. Puchang galang yan, pang ilang beses ko na syang tinatanggihan go na go pa rin." Inayos ni Celestine ang mga papel na nakalatag sa mesa. Sa pagmamadali nyang lumabas kanina sa office ay hindi na nya nagawang ayusin ang mga iyon kanina.

"Oh sya, pauwi na ko. Mamaya nslang ako magkukwento." pinatong nya ang phone sa mesa.

Nagulat sya nang may umupo sa upuan sa harap nya at hinablot ang kanyang phone na nakalapag sa mesa.

"WHAT THE H......" kung paano sya nagulat sa paghablot sa phone nya ay doble ang gulat nya nang makita kung sino ang snatcher nito. Sebastian
