Alex's POV

I really like her. She's funny, lovely, cute, kind of strong I guess, and awesome!! This special girl goes to my school, the same age as me. I met her yesterday at the arcade.

~~~~~~~Yesterday~~~~~~~

I saw Nikki and her friends at Starbucks. I guess they didn't notice me at all because all they did was walk right past me. Then, I saw her. When she walked right past me, I had that butterfly in the stomach crap happen to me. But then, I overheard Jake asking Nikki for help to ask 'Eliza' out. So the lovely girl's name is Eliza? It suits her.

Afterwards, I got bored and walked to the arcade. I was playing some games, but then I saw them enter the arcade too. I grew happy when I saw Eliza with them, but I got shy all of a sudden and stayed quiet.

I was playing Guitar Hero , my favorite game, and noticed she was watching me play. She had a cute smile which made her look even cuter. "Your really good, you know that??"

I blushed and quickly hid my face. "Thanks.."

"What's your name?"

"I'm Alex.. Your name?"

"I'm Eliza!! Nice to meet you, Alex!!" Oh mai gosh she's really cute. My train of thought breaks when I see Nikki walking up to us. She saw my face,"Hey Alex!!"

I sighed, "Hey Nikki! Hey Jake! Dom.." This will turn out awkward.. "Nikki, how do you know Alex?"

I blushed when she said my name. I noticed Dominic looking at me then I quickly hid my face. "He goes to the same school as us! And he asked me out this one time."

Well, you can say that so calmly!! "Should we go to the movies now? You wanna come Alex?"

"Sure. Nothing to do anyways." We all walked out and to the movies.

I saw Jake grab Eliza's arm and pull her away. I frowned and grew sad, knowing what he was going to do to her... He was gonna ask her out.. Of course.. I'll get rejected again.. I felt someone put their hand on my shoulder, but I realized it was just Dom. "It's okay, Alex. Don't worry about th-"

"That's easy for you to say!! Nikki actually said yes to you!! I got rejected!! And this is gonna be my second time getting rejected too!!"

"Dude chill. If you like her so much why don't you just fight for her? If you have been friends with Jake for at least 3 years, you would know that he wouldn't ask her out yet."

I stayed quiet.. Really? He wouldn't ask her out yet? And... Fight for her? That's easier said than done!!! Eliza must already like Jake more than she likes me already!! This day just keeps getting worse..

"I'm going home.. See you tomorrow, Dom.." I gotta think this through some more. "Okay, bye."
