As Celestia and Luna grow up, they are faced with many challenges, pre and post alicorn status. This story is presented in 3 arcs, being Arc 1-Saving the World, Arc 2-Sombra's Rule, and arc 3- Princess of the moon. For all you MLP fans, we all know what happens in the whole bit a thousand years ago, so expect a... That ending. I am planning to make a fourth mini-arc concerning what happens after Luna comes back and tying some loose ends, but that's only if you guys say it's a good idea. ^_^ please enjoy! Oh yeah, art is by unknown. :) Google images. Oh yeah, please review! I live for the reviews! And tell me if you want the fourth arc!

FIRST ARC- Saving the World

Chapter 1

"Luna... Your destiny is calling..."

I looked around, disgruntled. Somehow I had wandered into the same forest again. I hated my luck. I wandered through what looked like mud (I hope), hoping to find the source of the voice that called my name. I was thoroughly creeped out at the oddness of the forest I had entered. There were no leaves on the trees above, and they made a thick cover to the sky. Curious enough, there seemed to be an eminent light hovering about, with no real source from sky or ground. The ground was muddy(again, I hope), and there was mist hanging in the air so thick you could cut it with your horn. It was overall not a pleasant experience. Yet something pulled me forward. The thought of destiny. How the voice knew my name. The new colony, being forged on love and tolerance, was based heavily on self identity. Me and my sister, Tia were not sure of our destinies yet, therefore still no cutie mark. This was confusing since she is about 14 and I, 10. Anyways, this thought of destiny drove me through the muck, onward to wherever I was going.

"Luna... Come, find your fate..." the voice once again reached my ears when I came to a clearing. It was fairly grassy, a good sight compared to the dreariness of the forest. But what caught my eye was a ledge a few meters away from my hooves. Hanging from that ledge was a long bridge, ending near some sort of castle. Curious, I crossed the bridge cautiously and went in through it's doors. As soon as I entered the doors, I realized I made a big mistake. A being stood before me, a pony... Wait. Woah. What? As I studied this pony further, I realized that she had a horn. And wings. BOTH. Woah. Other things I noticed were the sheer stature of the pony. She must have been 3 meters taller than any pony I've ever seen! One last thing I was struck by was her appearance. She was black, with a weird mane. It almost... Flowed, dappled with stars. She had on an impressive helmet and suit of armor. I went to speak to her when she let out a maniacal laughter.

"You shouldn't have come here, young one! Now your fate has been sealed!" Her horn started to glow and I widened my eyes as horrible images flashed before me. I saw myself and Tia grow up, then I had wings... Tia had wings... Tia... Her horn glowed and I felt a burning sensation in my chest as the images flashed to the magic sending me shooting upwards into... The moon? I shook my head. The images were ridiculous. Tia would never send me to the moon! The pony before me smirked.

"Don't find your destiny very amazing? Sometimes fate is cruel...." The world around me started to fade, and I panicked as my own body became transparent. I closed my eyes and braced myself....

I woke with a start, breathing hard. I'd had the dream again. The one where see my sister sending me to the moon. I couldn't shake that image. And the fact it seemed so real scared me to no end. There could be no point in it, right? I got up and walked to the newly installed balcony and looked out into the night. I'd always had a passion for stargazing, but I never felt it was really my destiny. I stared out into the distance, looking at the houses around ours. Our house was stationed on a hill, so me and Tia had a great view. The houses were made of logs and straw, but isn't that what all houses were made of? The colony of Eauestria was only established a short while ago. Heck, it was surprising we had gotten so far so quickly. Tia was 4 and I wasn't born yet when the colony was settled. Sometimes I liked to speculate what will happen in the future. I only wish I could see it. That would be cool. I smiled slightly as the cool, crisp wind ruffled my dark purple fur.
