          "Focus Abaddon!

Abaddon concentrated, running his own power through the center of his being, changing it's shape and composition. When he opened his eyes and held his hands out in front of himself, he saw that he had succeeded, he looked up at the fallen angel and demon standing before him.

          "Perfect." said Andromalius

Lucifer nodded and said, "Yes, this will do perfectly, thanks to Andromalius's knowledge of demonic energy and the potency of your own blood, you were able to successfully change your shape to mimic that of a human, and you made yourself corporeal, Abaddon, do you know what this means? Now you can walk the Earth without the need of a smelly vessel, making exorcisms redundant against you."

Abaddon smiled, but he still craved revenge on the filthy clergymen who threw him back into his little piece of Hell.

"Lastly, Abaddon" said Andromalius, "Take this with you and wait for your next order, it is crucially important for Hell's cause and for your own that you keep this safe."

Abaddon looked down at Andromalius's clawed hand, which was clutching a silver amulet. Abaddon took the amulet and tied the chain around his neck, feeling the cold metal against his now-pale flesh, and he turned to Lucifer, who briefly smiled at him, and turned to the demon standing at the doorway and said:

"Deliver a message to Bernael, tell him we must open the gate. I do not care how many men we lose, it must stay open long enough for Abaddon to pass."

The demon bowed and walked through the doorway. Lucifer turned to Abaddon and said:

"Now that you're in a, quote unquote, meat suit, the only way for you to leave is through the gate, when it opens, do not hesitate, Hell gates only stay open for so long before there's fall out."

Abaddon nodded and he and Andromalius followed Lucifer out of the room.

When they reached the gate, it was already being opened. A thousand demons pulling on its chains. At the center back was Bernael, pulling on the center chain and barking orders.

Suddenly there was a loud noise of stone scraping stone, and the gate opened, slowly letting in the bright light of the Earth sun and a noise like a hurricane echoed through the chamber.

        "Now Abaddon!" cried Lucifer.

Abaddon took off running towards the gate, his feet beating hard against the stone. He broke through the crowd of demons holding the chains, and tore through the gates, his feet hitting dirt, and he heard the demons scramble to close the gate behind him.

Abaddon bent over, resting his hands on his knees. He swept black hair from his eyes and took a look around him.

The alarm clock went off beside Hunter's bed. She groaned as her hand moved towards her bedside table and shut off her alarm clock. She stood up and picked up her glasses, walking towards her closet. Aura scratched at her legs as she pulled on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. After she was done getting dressed, she picked up the brown tabby, still scratching at her legs, and walked out of her bedroom, laying Aura on the couch, and grabbing her jacket and keys as she walked out the door.

"See you in a few hours moggy, and try not to wake mom, kay?" said Hunter, Aura meowed in response and laid her head on none of the many cushions of the couch, and Hunter walked out, closing the door behind her.
