Media box: Ella's outfit and some paintings she's bring to school.
Probably the longest chapter I will ever write. (I had a lot of ideas to get out)•2 months into school
•October 11thMy annoying alarm goes off at exactly 5:45am every morning. I lay in bed for 5 minutes then my 5:50am alarm goes off and I get up. I take showers at night so I don't have to in the morning. I pull my shoulder length curly, black hair in a messy bun and head to the bathroom to wash my face.
I turn on warm water and splash my face a little, then I open my clean&clear acne face wash and lather it on my face. I dry my face off and grab the epiduo cream and put in on my acne bumps.
I leave the bathroom and go get dressed. It's now 6:15am and the sun is starting to peak through my windows. I put on my shoes and go back to the bathroom to brush my teeth.
I go downstairs to the kitchen and make a breakfast sandwich. At 6:30am my mother and father come downstairs for their morning coffee.
My mom's name is Janet and she's a nurse and the local children's hospital. My dad's name is Daniel and he is a Physics professor at Vanderbilt University.
I have a car, but I usually take the bus that runs through my neighborhood because who has money for gas, not me.
The bus comes at 7:00am and gets to school at 7:30am. I wait in the lounge area in front of the door and watch AHS (American horror story) on my phone.
Finally the bus came and I have my mom and dad a quick hug and was on my way. Before I leave I grab my art projects a work of art that describes you and a place you've travel to.
"Hoodie girl."
Did I mention I have a 'nickname'? Well here's a little background history ever since the 5th grade I wore hoodies and the name caught on I guess. Lame, but annoying.I turn to see Harley French, a member of the Stoners, giving me a sickening smile. There are two other guys, Matt Walsh and Sammy Dylan. They are the only one that ride the bus, the rest of the group doesn't.
"What do you want?"
"Oh nothing. Just wondering, do you have any other clothes, hoodie girl?" His group laughs
"Yes and my name is Ella, not hoodie girl."
"Ooo. So hoodie girl can talk?" He says looking back at his friends.
"I could always talk, you just aren't worth my time."
When did I become brave?
Next thing I know Harley is right beside me
"Watch it hoodie girl." He says "you don't wanna get on my bad side."
I can feel his breath on my cheek
"Sit down Mr. French!" The bus driver yellsGracelyn rides the bus with me and I saved her a seat. She's at the stop after next. I put my paintings in my lap and wait patiently while of course finishing my AHS episode.
The bus finally stopped outside of Gracelyn's house and she walks out, well skips out. She is a happy-go-lucky person.
I smile as she gets on the bus, thankful that I'm not alone and that I won't be bothered by the Stoners.
"How do you deal with this noise Ella?" She says sitting beside me
"Lord knows." I say giggling "So you ready for your skills test today?"
Gracelyn is a truly gifted singer. Freaking amazing.
"Hell no. I was up all night finishing my homework for physics, I didn't have time to practice." She says rubbing her temples
