Why?

Time passed, Amy still thinks of Sonic and dreams of him every night. One day, she encouraged herself to ask her mom, why?

"Mom, tell my why I couldn't stay at that city?", Amy questioned. "Because honey, I'm getting I'll. And when Something happens to me you'll have to replace me. ", Amy's mom, Queen Selena said. Then suddenly Amy's dad, King Mason entered in her room. "Dear, I have to go to another city to clear up some things, I'll be back by tomorrow morning.", Mason spoke. "I understand honey, be careful.", Selena said. With that said The king nodded and left.

"Mom, I love him and I can't stand to be far from him.", Amy said. "I'm sorry honey.... Well let me go with Jenna to see if the dinner is ready.", Selena spoke leaving Amy alone.

Soon, Amy was with her mom, at the dinner table. Queen Selena was feeling awfully sick. She got up and excused herself, right then leaving to her room to rest. When she was laying in her bed, she was getting horrible pain in the chest, until... She fell asleep.

Amy did finish her plate. When she did so, Amy went to her room to get some sleep.

In the morning, a maid walked into the Queen's room, and found her still sleeping. The maid had her breakfast in a tray, and when she set it in her bed, she shakes her gently to wake her up. "Queen Selena, wake up. Your breakfast is ready, I made you favorite pancakes with-... Queen? Queen!?", the maid yelled, now noticing that she wasn't responding. "Queen Selena!! Please wake up, you're frightening me! Please don't joke around! Queen!!!", the maid exclaimed again, now beginning to hace tears in her eyes. She couldn't bare the thought of the queen being dead. "No!!!!! ", she screamed. Her scream was heard all around the castle, getting the attention of all the maids, also waking Amy up.

She woke up, feeling confused and frightened. But mostly worried. Amy heard someone scream No! once again, this one made her jump out of bed. Amy put on her slippers and opened her door. As she opened it, she saw two maids in their pajamas running towards her mother's room. Amy saw that the maids had a worried look in their faces. Amy also began running towards the room and found, one maid comforting a crying maid on the floor. And the other one was with the queen, checking her pulse.

Amy ran to her mother, now in tears. "What happened?", Amy questioned. "She's gone!! Queen selena has died!", the crying maid stated. This paralyzed Amy. This couldn't be happening... Her mother couldn't be dead! Amy breathed heavily, in and out, Very quickly. Then, passing out. (Amy didn't die, she is just unconscious)

Hours later, Amy woke up in her bedroom laying on her bed, with a maid fanning her. "What happened? Oh... Wait a second. I remember. ", Amy spoke. "So, is she really gone?", Amy questioned. The maid nodded. "Yes... I checked her pulse and there was none. I have already contacted your father. He's on his way.", the maid stated. "Can I please be alone?", Amy said. The maid agreed, excusing herself then leaving. Amy sighed and looked to the ceiling.

She got up and looked to the window. She noticed that, Jay , a friend of his father arrived. He had a sad look on his face. That was weird, he was always happy.

A maid ran out and was face to face with him. He explained something to the maid.. Amy noticed that one single tear dropped from his cheek. The maid gasped and lowered her head. She looked up again, and nodded two times gently. They ended the conversation. Jay headed out the castle's gate. The maid, turning around had her head down again, with her arms crossed in the front.

The Maid then disappeared entering the castle. What could of happened? A maid entered her room again, with a sad face again. "Miss Amy, I'm afraid something terrible has happened again... Your father, when he was coming back here because of the death if your mother, aslo died. The carriage he was in, fell of a cliff. ", The maid stated, with a cracky voice. "I'll leave you alone if you wish", the maid said almost leaving. "No... With all of this happening. I can't confront this alone.", Amy said breaking up in tears. The maid approached Amy and hugged. Now both of them crying.

Amy was at the funeral, but now it was over. She was at the castle, since there was no longer king nor queen, she had to be the queen now, and be in charge of everything. Everyone in the kingdom was devastated.  But they knew, that it was the  who was even more.

The day of the coronation was that same day, later in the evening. It was not long, so she was beginning to change.

Then she was done, she had a yellow sliky dress with white gloves. She didn't bother to wear mascara since a tear fell of her cheek every now and then. Just simple lip gloss.

The coronation had passed, Amy was in deep depression. She gave the maids and servants days off. And locked all doors. She didn't bother to get out. All she did all day was rest in a chair contemplate life, and sometimes cry...

  .:With Sonic:.

Back with Sonic, he passed high school. And was now at his home, eating chips watching TV.

He always thought of Amy. Until, he had an idea. He'll visit Amy in her kingdom! Sonic turned off the TV then dashing to his room. He packed up some bags and ran back down to the living room. Checking if he had what he needed. He did and left the house. He was now heading towards the kingdom, running of course. It was not that far.

He ran as fast as he can, he couldn't wait to see her.
