Writing a story is simple, if you know the right steps to create one.
1. Pull out utensils
2. Create outline of story with plot chart or bullet points of events
3. Create background stories why each character has the characteristics they do now
4. Stay away from cliché or flashbacks
5. Use lots of literary devices
6. Try not to create run on sentences. Get to the point yet be very descriptive (catch 22, I know)
7. Avoid repeating words or pronouns multiple times (exception: using repetition) Thesaurus is you best friend
8. Word choice is important, be fluent, try to word the scene carefully. (If character is viewing the place or person negatively, use pessimistic words)
9. The ending is always difficult to write, because you try to please the audience. So, listen to your brain and just toss the story you were just writing out.
