A protagonist is usually the character everyone admires. Why do they admire them?
Badass? Able to face conflict and solve it?
Here are some tips.1. Create an intricate back story that shows their internal conflicts, their rise or fall
2. They don't have to be ambitious or always try to be a hero, they just need a huge character development
3. Make sure that the protagonist is always being tested by the antagonist. Create conflict between the two and try to create a sense of them conquering their internal conflicts.
4. Make sure to show that your character is a protagonist through their actions and thoughts
5. STAY AWAY FROM CLICHÉS (no one likes them, be unique)
6. Who needs to waste time creating characters, you are going to toss this all into a trash can sooner or later
