To get where I am
I have always had big plans

Fame
then I realized the only result was pain
No matter how hard I tried
Sadness replaced my pride
Days turned to months
Months turned to years
Before I knew it
My end was drawing near
Looking back
Tears fill my eyes
Now seeing that
After all this time
I've ignored my one true prize
