You were helping leo with one on his projects in bunker 9. When he threw down his tools and gave up.
You came over to his desk and asked what was wrong.
"I lost a damn screw!"
"Can't you just pull one out of your belt?"
"I don't think it will come. This project made me mad anyways. I give up." He said storming out of bunker 9.
You followed him into the woods.
"Hey Leo just come back and work on it I'll help you"
"No! I don't think it'll work (y/n)"
"You seemed to make a lot of things work Leo but one small project doesn't go your way and you give up?!"
Leo looked at you
"The Leo Valdez I knew would never give up!" You screamed at your best friend.
He went back inside with his head down and started working on his project.
About an hour or two later he had fixed it even with the missing screw.
You smiled at him. "I knew you could do it."
You gave him a big hug.
Leo hugged you back with his face barried in your neck.
Leo had had a crush on you since you two meet.
He loved you more than any girl he'd ever laid eyes on.
He stared at you for a good 30 seconds before makeup his mind
He grabbed your face kissing you.
You didn't know what to do.
You had read books seen movies about boys and girls who fell in love .
But you never got the point of love. It didn't make sense to you. You didn't know how to love.
You liked Leo but you didn't know if it was love.
He let go and pulled back looking you in the eyes.
"What's wrong?" he said.
"I don't know how....." You whispered.
"What?"
"I don't know how!"
"How what?!"
"How to love someone!"
You had lost your mom when you were a baby. You lived with abusive uncle until you came to camp.
You never knew love. Maybe brotherly love you shared with Percy. (Poseidon is your dad)
But that's it.
Leo stared at you for a long time.
You looked away
He put a finger under your chin making you look at him.
"Let me show you"
You looked at him before he gently held you close for a long passionate kiss.
And you did fell love.
3 years later
You and Leo had been dating for three years now.
You got out of camp both you and him lived together in a little apartment In Manhattan. He worked at the macanical show down the road and you worked at the diner acrost the street. Sometimes you two would have lunch together.
All the girl at work liked Leo. Well not like like but like family.
All the guys at Leos work treated me like a sister and Susan the only girl there.
When you and Leo went home you'd cook dinner together.
Then after dinner you and Leo would try again.
You two had been trying for a bady for two weeks now.
You guys had a little room next to yours in case you were still there when he or she was old enough for there old room.
You both hoped you wouldn't be there that long.
But it didn't really matter because you both loved each other. And like he told you he'd show you how to love.
And he sure as hades did.
