Why so emotional? Part 2

The Decision

"I ....um....", William still hesitates to pick between Natalie or Jacob.
But while he is still thinking of what to say Raven starts to get impatient.

William just doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings. And he knows how Natalie is, so he isn't sure of what to say. As he still is thinking, Natalie says something that kind of calms him down and gives him a thought of what to say.

"Again, it doesn't matter who you pick, cause neither of us will be mad at you or anything", Natalie says.

And just as she says that, William looks at both Natalie and Jacob, then says what he wants to say.

"Natalie, you know I love you, right?", William starts and then waits for her answer.

"I do now", she replies.

"Oh well, i do. And you are one of my best friends and I wouldn't to hurt you", he finishes and turns to Jacob.

"You have surprised me a lot since you've showed up at this school. And I really mean that.", he says to Jacob and then turns back to Natalie.

After saying that, he already knows what his decision is. He sighs a deep breath and then opens his mouth to say something but then he closed it.

He starts to walk away, leaving everyone in shock but after leaving for maybe about 3 minutes, he comes running back and he takes a deep breath and says......

" I pick Jacob", and looks at Natalie, who is smiling and then looks at everyone around him. Everyone except for Jacob. Jacob looks at Natalie.

And Natalie who is heartbroken, is also happy for Jacob so she hugs him and he says 'sorry' but she said that that apology isn't necessary.

Natalie lets go of Jacob and walks up to William.

"I love you and maybe always will, as a boyfriend, best friend/brother, a regular friend,or just a person", and she smiles then hugs him.

William just hugs her back and says
"Best friends, brother and sister, we will be".

The lunch bell rings and they all head to class.

"You're such a Mundane!!" Natalie yells at William as she runs back to the classroom with Tyler and Raven.

As they're waiting on the ramp of the classroom, Tyler takes Natalie aside and says the thing no one thought he would say.

"Natalie, I like you".

And still by the time Natalie started walking home, she was still shocked at Tyler said. He was her friend but she knew that the way he said was as if he was asking to be 'with' her.
