" Get off your ass and help Holden !" My mother yelled at me with an angry expression. " Why should I help your the one who moved us 3,340.2 miles away from home!" She gave me a sad expression " Please not today Holden, ok." She said walking up the steps of are new home next to the coast.
I stood there for a while glaring at nothing , hating the fact that this happened to me out of everyone God made me have a sucky family life. I walked up the porch steps into the house looking around the new house. I began to wonder the place looking for a room to call my own. I went up the stairs and roamed around till I found a door. I opened up seeing a nice room with a slant where a bed was place.
Next to the bed was a window where if you looked out you could see the waves crash against the rocks. It was breathtaking. Tch I thought
I hated the fact that I was already begging to like something here. I didn't want to like it, it wasn't home. It didn't have the smell or the look or the comforting fact that here was a safe place. This no place could never be home. I grabbed my PATD sweatshirt and left. I began walk down a path that led
into town. I closed my eyes while just concentrating on leaves crushing beneath my feet. Whack! I was knocked back by a small force I look down to see a girl on the ground in front of me. If I wasn't in a such a sour mood I would have bent down and helped the girl up, but I was. I moved around the girl mumbling a watch where you're going even though I was the one with my eyes closed. I froze I felt an arm reach out and grab my sleeve. It turned to see the girl had grabbed me. "Um do have a–" I was cut off with, " I didn't hear an apology." She said finally looking up. I gasped at how beautiful she was. I mean maybe to everyone else she seemed plain, but something about was absolutely outstanding. " well ?"
She said her brown eyes glaring into my place blue. "I didn't think one was necessary." I said with a smirk on my face. "Ugh don't be a smart ass." She said with a ghost of a smile. I laughed at how quickly she changed personalities.
" Holden" I said sticking a hand for her to shake. She smally smiled "Everest" she said highfiving my hand. She then turned around and began to walk away. "Where are you going!" I shouted after her. "Home!" She shouted back. I grinned and began to make my way back as well with only one thing in my mind. Everest
