I covered my head with the pillow trying to block out
the constant yelling between my parents. Although it was no use these thin walls could not block the sound of bickering. What are they fighting about? Do you even think about Holden and I!?
Relax Carol I did this whole thing for you two. I mean look around were living in a trailer house barley scraping by, with the money I'm making I could support this family.!
SUPPORT THIS FAMILY! Are you serious right now?! All your doing is going to get us in legally serious trouble!

My dad then came out he turned and look at me he wore a sad expression. Then he looked at me with rage he lifted his hand in the air and smacked me across the face. I was pushed back to the floor.
I looked up stunned. "After all I do for you people and you treat me like shit." He says he then kicks me in my side. I cry out in pain. "Don't get into it other peoples business boy. You understand." He said glaring at me. I just nodded and quickly ran back to my room wishing everything would go away that I wouldn't have to be here any longer...
