Anyway, here's the last bit, enjoy!

-------

I wake up tucked under a blanket at half past seven in the morning. There’s only the flashing DVD symbol on the television screen giving off any light as all the curtains are still tightly shut, as if they’re stopping me from escaping again.

There’s food everywhere. Around midnight, as everyone was getting a little sleepy, the boys decided to liven things up by having a food fight with the remaining Doritos and McVities digestives. It’s lucky, really, that Alistair left before ten, because he’d have had a fit at the sight of the mess. In the end, crumbs were everywhere. Sitting up I see that some of the crumbs that landed on Harry’s jumper have migrate into my hair. Lovely…

I have to tread across the living room floor carefully, making sure I don’t trod on any food or spilled drinks or even someone’s limbs – specifically, Liam or Zayn’s limbs, as they are both sprawled across beanbags, their heads unusually close.

Niall is fast asleep on the armchair, his head lolling over the side. Due to his position, I expect, he is snoring very oddly, snorting every now and then.

Louis isn’t in the living room. Perhaps he woke up and went to bed or something? Though he must’ve woken up once the rest of us had finally fallen asleep.

As I was with an untrustworthy bunch, I didn’t want to fall asleep with five teenage boys still messing around in the room. Though Liam had found a film for us to watch, we were barely watching it. I was lying on the couch next to Harry, who had his arm around my shoulder. Liam was reclining on the recliner with Zayn and Louis at his feet on the beanbags and Niall was sat on his armchair as if it were a throne. For the majority of the night we were joking and messing around and just having a chat with each other, letting the film flicker in the background.

It was really nice, just relaxing with them. It was mostly Zayn and Louis and Niall and Liam talking and laughing, whilst Harry and me were laid on the couch silently.

Occasionally one of us would make a comment and be involved with their conversations, but most of the time I was just resting my head on Harry’s chest, my head bobbing up and down as he breathed. His left arm had been curved around my shoulder all night, I remember him gently drumming his fingers on my arm as I was drifting off to sleep.

I go to get a glass of water from the kitchen, but as I find a clean glass on the draining board my eyes are drawn to the colourful letters coating the fridge. They read ‘WELCOM BCK CASSIE’, with an upside down ‘i’ used as an exclamation mark. Around the magnets the boys had stuck photographs. Not just any photographs, though; the entire fridge door was cluttered with photographs of the boys and me playing football or bowling or whatever.

They’re the photos I left them. I have to blink back my tears when I hear the boys stirring next door. Peering through the gap in the door I see no movement from any of the four, but I can hear some more snoring coming from Niall’s direction.

I can also hear buzzing. A very faint buzzing.

Where is that coming from?

I follow it into the hall, tiptoeing past the boys, and I find Louis sprawled across the bottom of the stairs. He’s fast asleep, as if he had begun to climb the stairs but then suddenly found the urge to fall to the ground and nap. His phone is lying next to his hand, buzzing away.
