So, this story is going to be a little different than most. In most stories, don't girls fall for their best friend's guy, or something like that? Not in this case. I am Jane smith. Ruler of the unpopulars here at Smith High. You'd think that being related to the founder of the town would get me an automatic in to the popular group. But, it didn't. Now, I ride an old school horse at the county stable, I happen to sit at the unpopular table at school, and I don't live in the richest neighborhood. So, yeah. Oh-no, here they come. "Hi Jane!" Amber said in a super fake cheery voice. "What do you want Amber?" I am so sick of them thinking that they can push me around. "Well Janey, you should be a little nicer to me," Tell me, is she ever going to leave? "Just leave me alone Amber, would you?" Amber took one last look at me, did her fancy hair flip and walked away.
She has been harassing me since we made the same riding team in the third grade. I just didn't know what to do about it. Sorry about that little interruption. I should probably get back to explaining the kingdom.
On the very tip-top, there is the populars. They rule the kingdom. They look down upon every person in the land who isn't one of them.
Then comes the wannabe populars. They warship everyone ahead of them. Therefore, they were put right below them for blackmail purposes. They took dirt on everyone.
After the wannabes, comes the nerds. They're third in last because they will do anything to get a seat at the popular table. Even extra homework. Though, they never get to sit at the same table as them, the dream is still there.
After the nerds, comes the J.V jocks who aren't wannabes. These guys care more about catching the ball than being popular. They are mostly freshmen and sophomores. Well, you get the picture.
Finally, at the very bottom of the totem pole is, take a guess. Go on, guess. Well, if guessed me and my group of friends, you guessed correctly. In my little group of friends, there is me, Jane. My best friend since forever ago, Sara. Our friend since seventh grade, Sydney, and her twin sister Sierra. Our group was perfect to us.
Well there, that's the kingdom.
