Our Little Secret

During her 5th year, Lily was devastated to find out that her cousin Rose was going out with her crush Lysander Scamander. She moped around just feeling sorry for herself. One day a certain blonde haired Slytherin boy approached her in the Library.

"Hi Scorpius." Lily mumbled looking up from her Transfiguration textbook.

"Hey." Scorpius replied plopping down in a chair next to her.

"Ummmm Scorpius. Not be rude, but what do you want?" Lily asked.

"Listen i'll just cut to the chase okay. You like Lysander, I like Rose. It's obvious that were both upset about them getting together so I made a plan to get them to break up, are you with me or not?"

Lily was speechless. "How did you-"

"Its so obvious." Scorpius cut her off "Every time he hugs you, you start to blush, whenever he's with another girl you get jealous, whenever he smiles-".

"Okay, okay. But your one to talk." Lily snapped.

"How so, my crush on Rose isn't very obvious." Scorpius raised his eyebrow.

"Okay. Sure.... When she compliments you, your smile definitely doesn't get wider, at Albus's party you definitely didn't practically ogle her all night and get jelous when Thomas Finnigan had the balls to do what you didn't, when she plays Quidditch you-"

"So were both guilty okay. Let's just hope that no one else realizes. Are you with me or not?"

"I don't know." Lily hesitated, "As much as I want to be with Lysander, the guilt of breaking him and Rose up would overwhelm me."

"We wouldn't be breaking them up....... We'd just make them realize that their not perfect for each other, they'll break up and BAM! Thats when we make our move." Scorpius smiled, obviously proud about his plan. 

"I guess so......" Lily said

A few weeks later Rose and Lysander decided to break up and realized that they had no romantic feelings towards each other.

Scorpius and Lily had a little celebration in the Room Of Requirement. They asked Rose and Lysander out a week later.

Even at their weddings, they decided to keep it their little secret.
