Okay so I've done some minor editing to this chapter and added a few new details into Jason getting Cortez at school .

"Cortez, Sophía are you ready" I called into the hallway.

"I am mama" Cortez responded.

Cortez came walking out into the hall with his black Jordan's on ,a pair of loose fit jeans, and a plain white t-shirt on he also had his plain black snapback on.
My little man.

Sophía trailed behind Cortez with no shoes on and in a pair of black skinny jeans and her pajama shirt that said princess on it in sequins.

"Mama Sophía wants to have swag, but she needs some help" Cortez exclaimed. I walked over to Sophía took her hand and went back to her and Cortez's room to get her another shirt and shoes.

"Mama I want to have swag like Cortez."

"I know Sophia I'm going to get your Jordan's like Cortez's and change you into a different shirt " I informed her as I started looking through her closet for the shirt I was looking for and her Jordan's. I found her white shirt that had air Jordan's in cheetah print bold with the Jordan symbol in black under the words.

I took the shirt off the hanger and Sophia squealed in happiness when she seen the shirt.

"I want a hat like Cortez too mama" she told me.

"Okay Sophía."

I grabbed one of Cortez's many snapbacks from the shelf in his closet and placed it on Sophia's head. It was a little big on her so I adjusted it to fit her better.

We have went to four different kid clothes stores in the mall. I had four bags full of clothes. Cortez held Sophía's hand so I could have a free hand to hold all the bags. Cortez started pulling me and Sophia towards kids footlocker.

"Mama I want these" Cortez motioned to a pair of red Son of Mars Jordan's. "Okay ask one of the workers to get you a pair in your size" I told him. I looked at the little girl Jordan's and picked a similar pair for Sophia.

"Mama a man payed for my shoes" Cortez said running up to me.

"Who" I asked confusion on my face.

"I don't know, but he had swag like me"Cortez said looking around.

"Let's go" I said.

I grabbed both the kids and hurriedly left the mall. Cortez didn't object to us leaving since he had his shoes. I pulled up to the front of our house unlocked the front door and let the kids in. I went back to the car and grabbed the bag with Cortez's shoes.

I silently prayed to myself in Spanish hoping that it wasn't Jason.

I grabbed the bag that held the shoes and looked at the receipt it said 'see you soon love '.

My blood ran cold.

He's found us.

A few lone tears escaped my eyes.

I grabbed the bags and ran into the house locking the door.

I was not in the mood to do anything anymore,but I couldn't just drop everything. I made a simple dinner for the kids then got them cleaned up and off to bed. Thoughts pondered my mind, Cortez has school tomorrow. I have to send him. I should be home before he gets off of school. Unless someone doesn't show up at work tomorrow, I have a free day.

Now that I know the whereabouts of my baby and kids I have been watching her. I looked over at Gaby's house and seen her with Cortez and Sophia.
