Chapter 8

Our lips moved in sync while he was pulling on my hair with his tongue battling for dominance. I wasn't expecting this to happen.  I spoke too soon as Cody pulls back. "Didn't expect that did you now?," he said. He leaves so suddenly with his shirt as I'm speechless. I put my shirt back on and went back to the party.

"So he just kissed you?" Avia exclaimed while shoving popcorn in her mouth on her bed. I always tell her to eat at her desk so there wouldn't be crumbs. I decided to sleep over because I needed some girl talk. 

"Well, we kind of had our shirts off and I told him it wouldn't be fair if my shirt was off and not his and he took it off but he surprised me with the kiss." If that were me, I would've continued that but next time when you see him, confront him about it, he wouldn't have done that for no reason."

I woke up getting ready for the day. I went down and greeted Avia's mom as she was cooking us breakfast as I was dreaming about last night. People make him seem so bad but honestly, he seems nice and he's good looking. I was interrupted by Avia's mom as she told me that breakfast was ready.

"You want to go to the mall with me today?" Avia asked. I said yes as I finished my breakfast and changed. Maybe going to the mall would make me stop thinking about what happened because the ride there we sang horrible karaoke.

We went inside a store and I tried on a couple things which I ended up liking and my best friend, who was complimenting me the whole time bought the things she tried on too. 

10 bags and 4 stores later, we were over the mall and walked out to the smoothie place. I bumped into someone on the way there. As I looked up it was the person who I have been thinking about the most. Cody.
