#7 It This Really Happening?

Lauren's P.O.V.

I couldn't believe that this really happened. I heard the word I hoped to hear for 5 years.

"Would you like it if I became your dad?" Niall said. I was speechless. What could I say?

"You can say it if you don't like it. Like I've said before I don't want to force you. That would me mean and make you unhappy." He said when I didn't response.  

Finally I got words to say to him.  

"I... I would love that sir." I smiled at him.  

"Than I think that you're adopted babygirl. And now I'm you father my first rule is... Stop saying sir and sorry al the time. I'm not that old and you haven't done anything wrong so sorry isn't needed." He smiled and hugged me. I cried, finally I got adopted. I had a family and an amazing dad.

"I love you daddy. You're the best." I said soft in his shirt. He looked at me and said "I love you to Lauren. You're my babygirl now. Forever and always." And I saw tears in his eyes.

"Are you coming. Than are we going to Irina to tell that you're adopted." He said. I nodded. 

"Guys. You can go to the car if you want. I can call when we're ready than Paul can pick me up." Niall said to the other guys.  

"No buddy. We don't let you alone. She's our family as well. So be quick than we can go home together. I have to spoil me niece. So quick otherwise we don't have time for that." Louis said.

"No... You don't have to do that. I'm grateful enough that someone adopted me. You don't have to buy anything. I have my stuff here. It's not that much but that doesn't matter." I said quick. Niall laughed and we walked to Irina's office.

"I'm so sad that you have to leave us Lauren. I'm going to miss you very much. But you deserve it. After five years it's your lucky day. I think that you can go to your room and pack al your stuff. Than Niall and I can discus everything about school and that kind of things. I'm going to miss you very much." Irina gave me a hug when Niall told her that I had a dad now. It felt weird. Did al the kids felt like this when they were adopted? Or was it just that weird because I've lived here almost my entire life! 

"thank you Irina. I'm going to miss it here as well. I'm going to miss you and Jayden and Max." I said and walked to my room. The other boys still were there.

"So do you need help getting your stuff packed? No... we're just going to help you." Louis said. I smiled and got a hug from Liam. "Welcome to the family baby." I smiled and got a hug from Zayn and Harry as well. Louis was busy with packing stuff out of my cupboard and place it in a small suitcase I had. It wouldn't fit but I had some bags.

"Lauren? Is this really everything? How can that be possible?" Louis said when he had my suitcase full with clothes. "Yes. I don't have money to buy much clothes and the orphanage only got clothes from charities and we have to share that with all the other girls here. But it isn't that bad. It's enough for me." I said.

"this suitcase isn't even big enough for Zayn hair products. And you're telling us that this is everything you have? We need to go shopping with you. As soon as possible." Harry said.  

"Hey, my hair products can fit in that thing perfect. I haven't got that much!" Zayn said. I laughed.  

"No, you don't need to spend money for that kind of thinks. I'm fine." I said. He nodded but I had the feeling that they weren't going to let this go.

"Are you ready? I think it's time to go Lauren. Let's go home. Do you want to say goodbye to some friends? You said something about Max and Jayden? Than go, I'll call the driver that he has to be here in ten. So you have ten minutes to say goodbye. And if you want we can visit then sometimes." Niall said when he walked in. I smiled and run to Max and Jayden's room.

"Boys! I have to tell you something! It's really important!" I yelled. They looked up from there comic books and looked at me.

"What's wrong Lau?" Max asked. I hugged him and Jayden and told them everything. 

"And I thought that they left because they didn't like be but they came back and... He adopted me. I'm going to leave!" I yelled but then... I realized that this was the last time that I'd see them. I had a home now. I had a family but they didn't. I'd lose my two brothers.

"Lauren? Why are you crying? It awesome so don't cry. When are you leaving?" Max asked. I swallowed.

"In ten minutes. I know that I should be happy but I can't. I'm going to leave my two best friends in the world. I'm going to. Wait I don't even know where I'm going. I'm never going to see you again." I cried. Jayden hugged me and said "Lauren. You don't have to worry. You're going to make good friends there and we'll see each other in the holiday. I promise. Now go. You can't be to late. We'll go with you to the car" And we walked to the front of the house. Niall, Louis, Liam, Harry and Zayn were there already.

"And who is your dad now? Or al five?" Max joked. I laughed and pointed at Niall. "Yes, it's me. I'm sorry for taking your friend away but I promise that we will try to come here as much as we can. You're really good friends to her. But we have to go now baby girl. The car is leaving. Say bye to your friends and come. And this isn't a goodbye. You'll see them later. I promise you." Niall said and I hugged Max and Jayden one last time before walking to the car.

I waved one last time and than the car left, and I couldn't do anything else than waving and soft crying.

"Baby, if you don't want than you can go back. And I promise you that we'll try to see them as much as we can. Come here. Don't cry." Niall said and hugged me. I cried but realized that I had to be happy. I had a family and Niall promised that I would see them again.

"I want to... I'm going to miss them." I cried. "Calm down baby girl. I can understand that you're going to miss them. But I've learned that if you've real friends that they never leave you. If they are real friends than they are happy for you because you've the change to be happy and of course they will miss you. But they can come for a sleepover once." He calmed me down. "I promise that. And you can ask the boys, I never break a promise. Just like I told you that we'd see each other soon. I promised and I came back. You have to trust me." He said.

"Thank you daddy. I love you. You're the best daddy ever." I said and smiled at him. He smiled back and kissed my forehead.

I had to stop feeling sad. Max and Jayden were real friends so they wouldn't forget about me. I would see them again. Niall promised it. I loved him and he loved me. This day was really my lucky day.

"I love you to Lauren. You're the best thing that happened to me. Along with getting in the band. I love you to." He said. I smiled and than I started to feel tired again.

"You need to go to sleep. It'll take nearly a hour before we're home. It's been a exhausted day. We don't mind it. Just go to sleep." Niall said. I nodded and lay down with my head in his lap. Within five minutes I was asleep. I had the best day ever.
