“Jax! Get your arses down here now!” Anna yelled up the stairs. After talking with Siva, she now knew what she needed to do. What she needed to say.
Once she saw the two, she made a command.
“Sit down and shut up.” She said before either one could say something. She needed to be harsh in order to be kind.
“Anna what is this….” Jay began
“Jay I said shut up!” Anna said, she then took a deep breath.
“Look I know you two like me, a lot and I know that you think that something is going to happen between us. Max and me or Jay and me that is the option that you have handed to me. I really don’t know how to say this because I don’t want to hurt either of you so I am just going to be blunt because it seems that is the only way to get into your heads which are so thick. You both are like older brothers to me. It feels weird that you are chasing after me and I don’t want you to get the wrong impression when I joke around with you. I do love you, don’t get me wrong but I just, I can’t get into a relationship with either of you.” Anna said
The room was silent. Jay and Max were speechless. This was a first, no smart comments were coming and they looked kind of surprised. Finally Jay spoke.
“Wow Anna, if that is the way that you feel then I accept it.” Jay said
“Really?” Anna asked Jay
“Yes. I accept your decision. I mean you clearly don’t feel the same way and I want you to be happy not miserable. That is not my goal and I know that it is difficult for you to live here with the five of us and I had been thinking that putting you in that spot was not right of us.” Jay said
“Anna, I will always have feelings for you, but I know when enough is enough. We made you feel uneasy and that is not ok with me. I am truly sorry for making you feel like this Anna.” Max said
“It’s alright guys. Thank you for understanding. I love you both so much but it’s just not that way. I wish I felt like that about you but I just don’t. I will always love you.” Anna said
“And we will always love you.” Jay said
“Yes we will, yes we will.” Max said. This got Anna and Jay to start to laugh.
“Well I need to go to the studio…Nano said something about a song…what is it about?” Anna asked
“We have no clue.” Max and Jay said together.
“Alright. Well im off to find Nano then.” Anna said as she gave each one of the two lads a hug.
As soon as Anna left the room Max and Jay looked at each other. Then a smile appeared across their faces.
“Im not giving up on her.” Jay said
“Me either mate.” Max said
“Max, Jay you two better not even do it!” Siva said
“Do what mate?” Jay asked
“You both know what. Don’t be arses and make that girls life here with us miserable, she has told you how she has felt and you need to respect that. Don’t make her not trust you. That is all that I have to say.” Siva said and he turned and walked away.
