Chapter One

"WHAT?!?!" I screamed at my best friend, Skylar.

"Oh, come on! Just them them a chance!!" Skylar whined, giving me her best puppy dog face.

Right now, Skylar was trying to convince me to come with her to a concert. I personally LOVE concerts, but guess who she had tickets to see? Yep. The one and only, One Direction.

"Heck, no!" I laid back on the bed and continued flipping through my magazine. "Hey, look! 'Selena and Justin caught leaving a club together at 2 am,'" I read out loud, trying to change the subject.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Pleeeease come with me! It won't be the same without you!" she pleaded.

I sighed, "But Skyyyy!"

"But Sohphieeee! I know you don't like them, but it's front row tickets AND backstage passes! You never know, you might change your mind!" One Direction was Skylar's all time favorite band and absolute obsession. I, on the other hand, did not particularly care for them. I would much rather a country band.

"Why can't you take someone who would actually appreciate the chance to meet them?" I suggested.

Skylar shook her head. "Nope. Not gonna happen. You're gonna come, even if I have to tie you up and drag you there." She wasn't kidding. I know from experience. Last year, I didn't want to go see the fireworks on the Fourth of July, so Skylar tied my arms and legs together, carried me out to the car, and drove me to the fireworks show. Let's just say I wasn't the happiest girl for the next 24 hours.

"Fiiiiine," I groaned. It would be pointless to argue with her. She was as hard-headed as a turtle's shell.

"Yay!!!" she exclaimed, smiling smugly.

"When is it?"

She grinned mischievously, "Tonight."

"What?!" Of course, she didn't give me time to think of a reason why I can't go. She's smarter than she looks.

"Yup," she said, popping the 'p' and grinning widely.

Oh just great! Notice my sarcasm. Now all I had to do was wait for it.

"Come on! Let's go get you dressed up! We're leaving at six!" She grabbed my wrist and pulled me into her giant walk-in closet, which was nice for me because we wore the same sizes!

Let the nightmare begin.

Two hours later, Skylar was finally done with my make over.

"Are you ready to see??" Skylar asked me.

"Do I want to?" I asked skeptically. Skylar had a total opposite style from me, so I was a little afraid of what she may have put me in.

"Of course, silly!" She turned me around and took off my blindfold.

She had me dressed in an orange, ruffly tank top and jean shorts, pair with orange flip flops, a white clutch, and a pair of sunglasses. She also had curled my long blonde hair and did my make-up to make my ocean blue eyes pop. Even though my choice would have been and over sized t-shirt, baggy jeans, and converse, I had to admit I did look great.

"Thanks, Sky." I gave her a huge smile and hugged her. At least something good would come out of this night. Who knows, maybe i'll meet a cute guy there.

Wait a minute, Sophie. Were going to a ONE DIRECTION concert. The only people that are going to be there are screaming girls. Ok, so maybe no cute guys.

"Your welcome!" Skylar shrieked, bringing me back to reality. She looked even more amazing than I did. She was wearing a flowy red dress, with black flats, and a black clutch.

"Sky, you look so pretty."

"Thanks Sophie! We both do. Come on, let's go!" With that, we ran out to her convertible.

As I hopped into the passenger's seat, I cranked the radio up to Cruise, by Florida Georgia Line.

"No, no, no," Skylar scolded as she backed out of the driveway.

"What?" I asked. We always listened to QDR in the car.

"We're on the way to a One Direction concert and you want to play country?"

"Well, to be fair, I am being forced to go," I reasoned.

"Well, to be fair, you're also being forced to listen to One Direction." She winked at me and put in her One Direction CD.

I rolled my eyes at her, but she ignored it and began to talk about their new music video. I tuned her out and watched as the scenery flew by.

I would be spending the next four hours of my life with screaming girls and five annoying popstars. Oh joy! (Please notice my sarcasm. I beg of you.)
