Me: Hey Serina, can we talk...

Serina: Of course!

*In the kitchen*
Me: You haven't been your smiley goofy self lately... I was wondering if you are okay...

Serina: Yeah I'm fine.

Serina POV
I wasnt fine... Jake and I have bad past experiences. I hated lying to Mark, but I had to because if I told the truth I could ruin their friendship...

Flashback
Serina: Hey Jake!

Jake: S'up?

Serina: Nothing much.

Jake: One second. *talks to his friend*

*a few minutes later*
Jake: *pushes Serina*

Serina: *tumbles to the floor* Jake?

Jake: You deserve it.

Flashback over
Mark: Serina? Serina!

Me: Oh, sorry.

Mark: I know something is wrong, why don't you just tell me? You can trust me with anything.

You can trust me... thats what Jake had said...

Me: Can I really, or are you going to turn your back on me?! Is this a prank? A bet?!

Mark: Oh my god Serina, calm down! What has gotten into you?!

Me: Oh my god, Mark I'm so sorry... It's just, I got lost in my thoughts...

Mark: *hugs and strokes hair* It's okay, I'll always be here for you Serina. I love you.

Me: I love you too, Mark.
