THORNE............

Picture above The Royal Jet.

As the wheels of the Jet touched down and we raced to a stop at the private docking bay reserved just for the use of the Royal family I exhaled the breath that I had been holding. I was back, after twelve years of running I was back where I started. I was home.

I unfastened my seatbelt and grabbed my duffel back before making my way down the aisle to disembark the plane. As I exited the plane there waiting for me on the tarmac was a car and driver. "What, didn't he think that I could find my own way home?" I muttered to myself, not the least bit happy with the situation. First Hunter sends the Royal Jet to pick me up and now I'm met by a Limo.

As I approached the car and driver I was pulled up short by the look on his face. "What is it? What is wrong?" I asked him.

"I'm sorry sir, but I've just been informed that there was an incident at the Mansion, two people are hurt and have been taken to the hospital." The man managed to get out.

"Take me there now." I shouted at him. I hurriedly opened the limo door not bothering to wait for him to do it. As he slid behind the wheel I asked, "Do you know who has been hurt or what happened?"

The man gunned the engine and peeled out of the airport. "No sir. I don't have any of those details.

My mind was racing, wondering what could have happened and who was hurt. "What the fuck did Liam do now?" I wondered to myself. "Please don't tell me that he's still the same messed up kid that I left behind." I breathed deeply in an attempt to calm myself down. "Well he's not a kid anymore. He's all grown up now, a man." These thoughts and a myriad more were circling around in my head as I urged the driver to step on it.

We reached the hospital in record time and I didn't even wait for the car to come to a complete stop as I shot out of the back seat like a bullet. I raced into the hospital and straight into the elevator. I didn't need directions; I'd been here so many times before that I knew exactly where I was going.

As I got off the elevator I was met with chaos. It looked as if the entire family was there. The biggest shock was seeing Liam looking the picture of health. He had is arms wrapped around a dark haired young man that I did not recognize. He was trying to calm the young man down but it didn't seem to be working.
They all turned to me in shock as I blurted out, "What's going on? What are you all doing here? Who is hurt?" My voice was breathless from my mad dash and it was also laced with worry. From what I could see all my of my family was accounted for. The only ones that I didn't know was the young man Liam was holding and the dark haired child that was being held by Vlad. The child looked a lot like Liam.

Hunter stared at me with his eyes shining brightly with myriad emotions and tears glistened in his eyes that he refused to shed. My brother moved towards me and grabbed me into a bone crushing hug. He knew that I was coming home, he had been the one to summon me home, yet he held on to me with such desperation as if he was afraid that I was a mirage that would suddenly disappear.

"You're home, you're finally home." Hunter kept repeating over and over as he held on to me.

That was yesterday or rather last night. I still don't know what's really going on and why Hunter summoned me home. I haven't gotten the chance yet to talk with him. From what I was able to gather Liam was mated to the dark haired young man, his name was Nicholai. He was a dragon Lord and they had a son named Tristan. Blake was the one that was injured and now he was in a coma. There was also someone else, but no one knew who he was. All that they knew about him was that he was a Dragon Lord as well. And for some reason Liam refused to let his mate see this stranger.
