Chapter 2

You wake up as soon as the sun rays hit your face. You pick your phone. It's 12:35. Late. You turn around to see Josh sleeping peacefully. You didn't want to admit it but since 8th grade you've had secret crush on Josh. You didn't feel like telling him because you were afraid of breaking the friendship connection you had. You walk out to the bathroom and wash your face and mouth. Once clean you head down stairs to find something to eat. You search through the cabinets and find some cereal. You try to reach it but it's a little to high for you. Since your short. You stand on your tip-toes and try to reach. No success. You grunt in frustration. While you keep attempting to reach the cereal you feel someone's arm snake around your waist and pull you closer to there body. You gasp and turn around to see who it was, and it was your beloved Josh. Oh good morning Joshie. You say blushing and smiling. Good morning Beauty. Said Josh still holding you by the waist. You guys share a moment of staring to one another.You can feel butterflies in your stomach. You can feel your cheeks heat. Josh's cheeks turn a slightly shade of blush. Could it be? Nah it's just probably from the cold. Even though it's summer, that morning was cold. Before you could even spit out a word, Josh spoke. Watcha trying to do? He said finally letting you go.You turn around and try to reach the cereal. Trying to get breakfast. You say on your tip-toes. Josh laughs. Let me help you Shorty. Josh said. He stands behind you and grabs your waist with one hand while he grab the cereal. You feel your cheeks heath. Josh takes the cereal and backs away with it. Josh you can give it to me now. You say. Josh takes up in the air. You have to take it from me now. He says sticking his tongue out. You sigh and smile. Josh give it back. You say walking to him. Josh starts to back away. No Shorty you have to get it. He says laughing. You laugh and start walking faster to him. Josh backs away faster. You start to run to get him. Josh!!! Give it back!!. You say chasing him. He backs up faster and laughs. No!!! You have to get it from me. Your almost in front of him when Josh trips with something and falls taking you with him. You fall on top of Josh. Your in top of Josh inches away from his face. You can see he has noticed to. You blush and look at his eyes. Josh stares at you to. With out thinking twice. You grab the cereal next to him and jump of Josh and ran again to the kitchen. I got it you Derp!!! You yell back. You hear footstep getting closer to you. Suddenly Josh lifts you from the ground into his arms. You scream laughing. Silly girl! You won this time but not next time. He says spinning you. He puts you in the ground and stares at you. You just look down and blush. Hey (y/n). Josh starts to say. Yeah Josh. You lift your head to look at him. I... I.. Josh stammered. Yeah, is there something you want to tell me?, is something wrong?. You ask Josh. No, no it's just that... You have no idea how grateful I am to have you in my life. Josh said. You've always been there for me. Making sure I'm ok, that I took my meds, that I'm not doing anything crazy or something. And I just wanted to thank you for everything you've done even though I don't deserve it. You were there when I thought no one cared about me. And you were there. Your like my light to my darkness. So I wanted to make it up for you. He finally says blushing and looking at you. You look at him wide eyed. Wow Josh, ..... Umm and it's ok you don't need you do deserve this. I do care about you. You mean alot to me. And I wouldn't want anything bad happening to you. You don't need to do anything really I'm fine just by helping you. You say bringing him into a hug. Josh hugs you tighter. Saturday at 7:00pm be ready that I'll take you to some place special ok. And no ifs, ands or buts Shorty. Josh said breaking the hug and smiling. You sigh. Fine, fine Washington I'll accept. But can we eat now I'm very hungry. You say looking at fist pumping Josh. Yess!!! He said. When he noticed your looking at him. He got embarrassed and blush. Yeah why not he said taking out two bowls for the cereal. You sat, ate, and talk a little. Before you even knew it every one got up. Emily wanted to go shopping so she took Matt with her to the mall. Chris and Ashley had a date ( yes they finally got to know each other better and know there dating - back to the story -(*¬*)-) Jessica and Mike said they where going somewhere to do who knows what. That left Sam, Josh and you alone in the house. It was about 3:30 pm. You were cleaning your room when someone knock on the door. It's open, come in. You say fluffing a pillow. Hey Shorty. Said Josh entering your room. You turn and smile. Hey Derp. You say. I made you a sandwich. Josh said bringing it to you. Oh Thank you Josh, you shouldn't have. You say taking a bite of it. Of course I did you always make things for me. You smile and blush. Well anyway (y/n) the actual reason I came here is to ask you something. Josh said blushing. Ok then what is it you say chewing your sandwich. Well, I was wondering if..., You wanted to play Call of duty with me? He said crossing his fingers. Ohhh I don't know.... You say. Josh's face dropped. I'm just kidding why wouldn't I !!! You push him playfully. Josh looked at you and smile. Silly girl!! He said come on, let's not waste time. Josh took you by your hand. You started to blush. You made a stop on the kitchen to leave the plates and grab some soda. You head into the play room. You sit down while Josh started the game. What about Sam? You asked. Sam is sleeping she couldn't sleep very well last night so she's taking a nap. Oh ok so that means just you and me. You can feel butterflies in your stomach. Yes Beauty just you and me. Josh walk to you and handed you the controller. You can see he was also blushing. He sat next to you. The last 2 hours of playing have been of yelling, laughing, pushing and nick naming each other. DIE YOU MUNDANE CREATURE!!! you yelled at Josh. I'm gunna win this time. You were winning by one already. NOT THIS TIME SEWER RAT!!! yelled Josh back at you. The time was ending only 10 seconds left. Your about to jump on Josh and plunge knife at him but Josh ran, turn around and threw a granade at you killing you 5 seconds from the time ending. NOOOO!!! HOW DARE YOU!!! . Josh had won once again. Josh was laughing like a maniac. Don't laugh. You hit him with a cushion. Josh only laughed even more. You look so funny when your angry. Josh kept laughing. You gave him an angry glare and jump on him and you bit him softly. OWWW!!! What was that for you piranha!!! Josh yell. That's for cheating. You laugh. Who looks funny being angry now huh. You started to laugh. Josh glared at you. He tried to grab your arm but you moved just in time. Oh no your not. You jumped from the couch and made run for it. Come back here YOU RAT!! Josh jumped of the couch following you. You have to catch me first you butt !!! You yell back. Running around the lounge trying to find a place to hide. You hid behind the stairs. You heard Josh past flew you. You cover your mouth so he couldn't hear you laugh. Where are you (y/n)? I'm going to find you? Suddenly you hit a coat hanger and it fell. Josh turned around and saw you. There you are you maniac!!! He yelled!!! You screamed and ran upstairs getting away from Josh. You run into a room and hid under the bed. You hear Josh enter the room. Oh fuck! You whisper giggling. I heard you!! Said Josh in a maniac voice. I know your in here! Come out, come out, where ever you are. Said Josh laughing. You stayed quietly. No movement... Just silence. Suddenly you feel someone pull you by your feet. You screamed laughing. You turn around to see Josh laughing. I got you troll!!!! Josh laughed. He picked you up and put you in his shoulder facing down. Josh!!! Put me down!!! You laughed. No. Now your staying there as punishment for biting me. Josh walked out of the room. Josh!!! Get me down pretty please!! You said sounding like a little girl. I said no, your staying there. Josh got down the stairs. You grunted. You can see Josh's butt from here. He had a butt.You started to pat his butt has he moved. Ploop!! Ploop!! Ploop!! You said as you patted Josh's butt. Hey cut it out!! Said Josh laughing and getting another can of soda. No until you put me down. You kept doing it. But this time you were slapping his butt hard. Hey!! That hurts!! Said Josh walking towards the living room. Put me down and I'll stop. You said still slapping his butt. Fine!!!! Whatever you say Shorty. Josh put you on the couch in the living room. Thanks Derp! You say smiling. Josh sat next to you and handed you a can of soda.
What hour is it? You asked. Josh looked at his watch. It's 5:45 Shorty. Josh said looking back at you. You blush and smile at him. So what do you want to do know Shorty? Asked Josh putting his arm around you and bringing you close to his body. Your head was resting on his chest. You could hear his heartbeat. I don't know Washington, do you have something in mind. Sam comes downstairs from her long nap. Hardy Har love-birds. Sam said sitting next to you guys. You guys look at each other. You blush and hid your face on Josh's chest. Josh smiles and blushes and touches your hair. Sam looks at you guys and laughs. Oh you two, so what are you up to? Sam said taking the remote and turning on the tv. The weather cast came out. We have no idea. You two blurted out. You two smile. Hey let's watch a movie!!! Said Sam. Great idea Sam. Josh said.You hear someone laughing. It was Emily and Matt. We're back! Yelled Emily opening the door. Matt followed behind carrying all the bags. I'm beat!! Said Emily sitting on the other couch. Matt go leave the bags in our room. Matt sigh. Fine, I'll be back. Matt said struggling with the bags, trying to walk up the stairs. Chris and Ashley came inside holding hands and sharing a kiss. Gross get a room love-birds. Sam said sitting next to Emily. Oh c'mon Sam, it's just a kiss. Chris said sitting next to Josh. You stand up. I'm going to get more sodas. You went to kitchen and hear Jessica and Mike get home. They were laughing like maniacs. When you head back you were suprised at what you saw. All the couches were occupied. Josh was sitting next to Ashley and Chris. Emily and Matt were sitting next to Sam. And Jessica and Mike were together sitting. You had no where to sit. The movie is starting. Were gunna watch a scary movie. Were gunna watch Freddy Krueger nightmare in Elm street. Said Sam. That's a nice movie, but where will I sit. You say crossing your arms. You can sit on my lap if you want to. Josh said patting his lap. You blush and butterflies grow into your stomach. Ummm... Ok. You stammered out. You handed each a can of soda. When you reach Josh you handed the can of soda. Josh patted his lap. Are you going to sit or nah? Asked Josh. Yeah I am just give me a sec. You grab a bowl and dumped some chips and passed it to Matt. You look at Josh who patted his lap for you to come and sit. Ok ok people! I'm starting the movie. Said Sam pressing play. You shyly sit on Josh's lap he wrap his hands around your waist pulling you closer to his chest. He lays his chin on your shoulder. You can fell your cheeks getting hot. Through out the whole movie Josh will hug you tighter or smell your hair. He even played with it for a while. He'll sniff your neck and lay his head into yours. You putted your hands on top of his. You felt butterflies in your stomach. When the movie ended you were going to stand up when suddenly Josh pulled you back into his lap. You got shocked and yelp. Josh!!! You said a little embarrassed. You're not leaving your staying here with me. You blush and smiled. Ok,ok fine. You say. You didn't exactly wanted to leave. Hey the weather tomorrow is good. We should go to the beach! Sam said with glee. Omg!!! Yess i need some beach fun. Emily said. Let's go tomorrow after 10:30. Ashley suggested. Yeah that will be perfect!! You said. Everyone agreed. Ok, ok let's get things straight. Said Mike. Tomorrow at 10:30 everyone has to be ready with swimsuits on, bags with towels and sunscreen, bag with snacks and drinks, umbrellas and everything else we all need. Did everything got clear? Mike looked at everyone. Everyone looked to each other and shouted. CLEAR!!! Everyone laughed. What time is it? asked Matt. It's 9:40. Said Chris looking at his watch. Well what should we do? You say. I'm pretty bored you say patting Josh's hands. Well I'm gunna take a shower said Emily getting up and heading upstairs. Jessica and Mike disappeared. They were probably on one of the rooms doing who knows what. I'll go take a shower too said Sam. Then she went upstairs to look for a towel and her clothe and then used the bathroom down stairs. Ashley fell asleep on Chris's shoulder. I should take her to her room. She's beat. She had so much fun today. Said Chris smiling at her while picking her bridal style. Chris walked up stairs to take Ashley to bed. Well why don't we watch another movie. Suggested Matt. You finally get up from Josh's lap and sat next to him. He looked at you and blushed and smile. You blushed and smiled back. Yeah why not? Said Josh. Well let's not waste time. Said Matt. Chris came back. What are we going to watch. Chris said sitting next to Matt. We're going to watch the Avengers age of Ultron. Matt said playing the movie. You look up at Josh who was staring at you. He blushed and looked away quickly. You smiled and blushed at his action. You then take his arm, startling him, and putted around your body into your waist pulling your self closer to him. You looked at him and he looked surprised. You stick out your tounge at him. He sticks it out back. You smile and rest your head on his chest. Feeling his heartbeat. Josh pulled you closer and rubbed your waist. This made you tickle. You feel asleep during the movie. Matt looks at you. Psst... Josh. He whispers. Yeah?.. He whispers back. Chris signalled you. He looked down at you and smiled. I love her you know. Josh said combing your hair trough his fingers. Well bro why don't you just tell her already? Chris said to Josh. Yeah man I think it's already time for you to tell her, then it will be to late and she'll probably find someone else. Matt said to Josh. Josh looked at you sleeping peacefully. I can't tell her now she's asleep. I'll try to tell her tomorrow in the beach. Yeah man I know you can do it. Said Chris. I'll try, I'll try. Josh said kissing your forhead. When the movie ended it was about 11:40. Josh took you to bed while the others headed to their rooms. When Josh layed you in bed he pulled the covers over and kiss your forehead. Goodnight beauty he whispered. When he was about to leave you called him. Josh... You said with a sleepy voice. Yeah Shorty? He asked back. Remember to take your meds before sleeping ok. You said sleepily. Josh smiled. Of course I will. Now go back to sleep ok. Goodnight (y/n). He said leaving your room. Goodnight mundane creature. You say smiling. Josh smiles and heads to his room. That night was a peaceful night.
