Chapter 9: Brother my brother

Sorry if this a late update but my phone died T^T. I loved that phone...

Anyhow, I got a new one but im getting used to it still!

Thats why i havent updated much, also school. And im sick. Im settling in first!

This one phone is a bit harder to use compared to my other one but according to my mom this one is better -_- but I dont like it much!

Zeref's POV~

I was sitting on my throne as I watched the lacrima screen infront of me watching my brothers scream in pain and pass out once more.

I hate watching them suffer...

But they have to go thru this to become stronger so they can become E.N.D. and finally E.N.D. me.

I chuckled at my stupid joke and continue to watch them.

Everytime they make contact, they'll get closer to becoming it.

I leaned foward and noting that Nakitsu looked like he was in more pain than Natsu. It's probably because of his Devil Slaying Magic. He is an Etherias so it makes sense that he is suffering more because of it. It's only till he fully transforms tho. But if he uses his Devil slaying magic, he might injure himself more then the opponent he might be fighting.

I sigh and leaned back.

"If you guys would only know how much it hurts me to see you in this condition..." I whispered to myself. Then a sweet smile covered my sad look. "...I'll be seen you guys soon from what I can tell. You where never able to stay away from eachothers grasp..."

Natsu's POV~

'It's dark again...and hollow...dark and hollow...hollow and dark...why am I reapiting this?!'  I thought looking around for a light.

I sighed and ran a hand thru my hair. I sat down and closed eyes for a while and took a deep breath before my ears perked up when I herd breathing.

"I know someone's there." My eyes open when I herd someone say the same thing I did.

"Natsu!!!" I turn around to see Nakitsu sitting a few feet away from me.

"Kitsu-nii!!!" I exclaimed gettimg up and running to him while he mimicked my actions.

We stoped when we here only  inches from eachother. He then took of his hoodie revealing my face. Well his face. He looked exactly like me ecxept his hair was a bit more reddish.

"S-so uh...we're b-"

"Brother's. Twin brothers as a matter of fact!" He said happily and I nodded with a smile.

He sat down on the floor and I did the same.

"So what have you been doing in the year's? " I asked him.

"Well, when I was young I was trained by a fire dragon named Igneel and a lava demon named Pyroto. I know Fire Dragon Slaying magic and Lava Devil Slaying magic. When Igneel and Pyroto disappeared, I just traveled around Fiore. Met some friends who traveled with me and had fun. But I had to leave them for a while and here I am now." He said while I was processing what he said before jolting up.

"You where trained by Igneel!?!?!?!?!" I yelled and he covered his ears before nodding.

"Yes I was. Now sit." He commanded and I obeyed. "You where too from what I herd. Apparently he was training us at the same time. When he disappeared, he gave Pyroto a fraction of his power so he stayed in my body to prevent a transformation."

"I see...So how old are you anyway?" I asked remembering the seven year gap.

"Same as you. I herd about your seven year gap but just like you I didnt age. Since we're linked togheter we stayed the same age. Plus if we where to be different ages it would be very difficult to transform into...w-well, you know..." He finished and I nodded looking down.

"So now what? We just stay here? Wait, where is here? And what are you doing here?" He asked confused.

"I think we're in a linked realistic dream. And to answer your first question I dont know.

"Hmm...Maybe if we make contact, we can wake up in the real world?" He suggested and I nodded with a smile.

"Lets give it a try" I said getting up and so did he.

We reached for our hands and where about to touch when i jolted my hand back and screamed.

"WAIT!!!!!"

"NANI?!!?!?!" He screamed jolting back and holding his chest with one hand while the other covered his ear. "ARE YOU TRYING TO LEAVE ME DEATH WHILE GIVING ME A HEART ATTACK?!?!?!"

"I was gonna say that when we wake up, we cant tell anyone we're brother's and that we're that thing. Let's say we know eachother from our childhood. Kay?" I said and he nodded with a sigh.

We reached for our hands again.
"Wait!!!"  I once again said but not as loud as I jolted my hand back.

"Nani? " he asked with an irritated voice. I looked down.

"I-I just wanted to say im sorry for scaring you and making your ears hurt." I said and looked up to see him with a suprised face.

He sighed and averted his gaze to the ground. He then looked up a pink color covering his cheeks while he raised his arms widely.
I looked at him puzzled.

"What are you doing?"

"W-well, we have to make contact so...I was thinking that m-maybe we could hu-" I interrupted him by wrapping my arms around him.

He was suprised at first but quickly hugged back.

"This is nice. Never thought I would miss something I didn't remember." I said chuckling and he did the same.

"Agreed. Not as warm as a real life hug but it's close." He said and I nodded in his shoulder.

"True." Then we started fading till our torso was gone.

"Oh I almost forgot. Did you noticed that this place is dark and hollow? " He said smirking as we broke up from our embrace. I tilted my head.

"Hai. What about it?" I asked and he flicked my forehead.

"It's dark and hollow just like your head Tsu-Tsu! Ja ne~" he said and disappeared but laughter could still be herd.

I laughed remembering when he did that when we where little everytime we where in some dark place to cheer me up.

I then disappeared too but mumbled something before I did.

"Brother my brother..."
