It's Just the Begining

Eliza Wick. Five-eight, seventeen years old, Caucasian, blonde, green eyes. My friend. Dead. One minute and thirty seconds. I saw it. In real time, too. No pre-vision, no way to stop it. Not after the event,either. That's impossible. Never has happened before, and there is no record of it. I just hope it was this one time. No help, and no hope to save others if I watch it happening in the present. Can't dwell on this fact. Think about the man, no not man, demon. He, she, they, it, what ever, is not part of this world. She didn't notice his eyes. There might have been a chance for her to live if she just looked at his eyes. Why so handsome? Why did she see what he wasn't? No demon can make you see them as they are not. They can't create glamors. We took that away from them years ago. There is no way that this is real. But it has to be. What the fucking hell is goi...

Suddenly I wake up. There is something in this room. Can't see it but it's here. The window shatters, a powerful force enters and the presence is gone. I run and turn on the light. What's on my wall creates a terror that hurts, but I stand in place. There is, written in blood, Eliza's blood, 'SAY HELLO.'
~~~~~~~~
"Monica Sontradome. Please state your purpose." The secretary asked in a monotone voice.
"To report an incident."
"Please specify what this incident is."
"Well there could be multiple incidents. My vision, the way it appeared, it wasn't right. It was like I was there when he was killing her, in the present. And there was this man, he was a demon, but he had a glamor or something, because he went from handsome to a green demon..."
At glamor she looked up and said with pain and fear in her voice "and knives for teeth." She picked up a phone, and looked at me, "You can go straight down the hall to the right." As I walked through the door she said into the phone "Mr. Rodney, he's back. And if he hasn't changed, and his patterns have stayed the same; it seems that he is, yet again after the oldest Sontradome."
~~~~~~~~
A couple of minutes later I reach the end of the hall. There is nothing. No doors, no windows. Then the wall disappears and I'm in a room. I see a chair and sit, then the wall reappears.
"So tell me what did you see in your 'vision'." Said a man with pale skin, a thick carmally voice, and black hair.
"There was a girl, Eliza Wick, and she was running from someone or something."
"Okay let me rephrase. Show me what you saw." I looked at him confused. "I heard your conversation outside earlier. I also know that you heard what Ms. Montgomery said. I need to see your memory of this vision, if it is even that what you would call it. I need to see what this green demon looks like. If it is who we fear it is. Well, we would have a problem."
"Okay." Almost immediately I could feel him poking around my head, my memories.
"Ms. Sontradome, we are going to have to hold you in our version of protective custody."
"But why? I'm sixteen. My powers are still developing. I'm not exactly powerful. So why would I be a threat to anyone?"
"There are many reasons why your in danger. A couple being your family, and looking through your family's history, you could be very powerful. Your family is very likely to be the second most powerful the history of angel history."
"So because I come from a very powerful family, I'm in danger. I don't even know who I'm supposed to be protected from. What's his name? It's a he right?" In my head I'm freaking out. I'm from a powerful family. Someone may be after me. I have the potential to be powerful. But if any of this is true, why am I so scared right now?
"Your scared because so many things are being rushed into your life. You just learned some things, and those things are not even a fraction of what your are going to need to know. You need to think this all through and sort the information. Which means that you need rest. You can't rest in your own room tonight, or for a while."
"My parents and my siblings, will they know where I'm going? Will they be safe? Can I see them?"
"Your family will be put in protection with you."
"What about my friends?"
"He can only hurt angels. So unless your friends are angles, they will be safe."
"But Eliza, she went to school with me she was human. She's... She's dead."
"No she wasn't, but her powers hadn't begun to manifest."
She was an angel. How could I not have known? His voice, it keeps bugging me.
"I'm ready to go get some rest. But before I leave, I need to ask something."
"Ask away." He makes a small gesture with his hand, like he's an open book. This makes me feel a little better.
"Your voice. It sounds a lot like his. Do you know him? Are you related. Were you neighbors?"
He looks shocked, he looks down.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked."
"No. No, you don't have to be sorry. Yes, I did know him, but not any more. We grew up together. My mother adopted him when we were five. It just so happened that he became my best friend. But we both changed, his heart grew dark."
"I'm sorry." I still feel really bad. This man, I barley know him, and I'm already digging into his past.
I realize that I have no idea where to go. "Umm, sorry but what's your name."
"Brain Rodney. Call me Brain."
"Okay. Brain, where do I go." Already in a first name basis. I know what Eliza would say to that. 'Good going. Now just wait, a man as good looking as that will have you in love with in a couple of days.'
"Just step outside and some one will be waiting to show you to your temporary home."
I turn to leave and he says "Monica, this, this is just the beginning."
