Chapter 3. Galuna Island [Part 2]

Date: August 14th
Location: Galuna Island.

The following day, the Fairy Tail gang met the elder once they were all awake. They went into the Elder's tent and saw that Rosetta was with him.

"I would send another to help you, but I know no one who has explored the island more then this girl here. Please take her and she can help you around the island." The Elder said. Then he bowed his head slightly "Please, take care of her though." He added.

Rosetta was confused. When she woke up early in the morning the she-creature who took her in had told her that the elder wanted to see her. She left her tent with a nod then sat in the elder's tent. Now she knew why he called her. "I...I will try my best to not be a burden to you guys. I also will do my best to aid you on your quest here." Rosetta then did a quick bow towards them while looking down.

Lucy was the first to smile, then after her the three others did as well.

It wasn't too long after that the 5 were heading out deeper into the island. Rosetta lead the way. "M-May I ask what those marks you guys have mean?" She asked nervous.

"We are apart of a guild called Fairy Tail. This is our insignia." Gray had answered. He still looked a little curious at Rosetta. "Now can we ask why you don't seem to change at night like everyone else?" His tone a little rude.

Rosetta looked down a bit as they continued to walk around. "I am not from Galuna Island. I came here a little over a month ago." She answered their question. "I too would like to know the reason for their changing."  She added after, in a serious, yet worried tone. As they walked through the forest they ran into a huge creature. Bigger than any Rosetta had seen.

"W-What is that!?" Natsu yelled. Then the creature stood up for a second then took a deep breath. "I don't like the look of this.." Rosetta said scared. The creature then sprayed them with a foul smell. "EWWWW!" Lucy and Happy commented at the same time. Both Rosetta and Natsu knocked out from the smell. "Natsu and Rosetta are knocked out!" Gray commented; The creature made itself visible, and it turned out to be a huge blue mouse!

The mouse chuckled then began to chase them. "RUN!" Natsu said as he suddenly got a second wind and carried Rosetta on his back. After running for a bit Gray finally turned and placed both hands on the floor. A magic circle appeared under his hands "Ice Make: Floor!" He called which froze the floor behind them causing the mouse to trip and fall. "Do that next time!" Natsu yelled at Gray. They got into a little argument, the rat tried to get up but both Natsu and Gray noticed, Natsu past Rosetta off to Lucy and beat the heck out of the mouse with Gray.

Rosetta slowly woke up. When she notice the mouse knocked out she sighed in relief. She noticed something from the corner of her eye, as did Lucy. They both turned their heads to the sides a bit and saw a temple. "I think we should go that way." Said Rosetta pointing at the temple. "Let's escape into there for now!" Lucy added.

They all entered into the temple and Natsu got excited "Woah look at that!" He commented on a picture on the wall that resembled the moon. "I read that this island used to be called Island of the Moon.." Rosetta commented. Lucy thought a bit. "Island of the moon, the curse of the moon...these symbols..." She said out loud. Natsu looked around "These ruins don't seem safe at all..." He began to stop the ground. "Natsu don't do th-" Rosetta warned but was then cut off.

"AHHHHHHHH" Everyone screamed as they fell through the ground.

Natsu, being himself, had stomped on the ground that there were all standing on. The floor was so old that it had crumbled under his foot which is now the situation the 5 are at now. Rosetta had landed on Happy. When she came to she immediately got off "Oh my! I am so sorry Happy!" She said concerned as she helped the blue cat off the floor.
