Tina (POV)
"Have you saw this!" kya said rushing into my home
"what girl what?" i asked taking the magazine from her. "oh my god" i said putting my hand to my chest
"yes, i just heard about it today" kya replied. i read the headline reading, "basketball player Michael Stevenson & his wife Arianna Stevenson lost their unborn baby after a car hit her while driving on the highway"
"oh my goodness, i cant believe it. is she ok?" i asked kya
"well yes thank god, they say she has to stay in the hospital for a couple of days because she still doesnt feel well. ty hasnt said anything to anybody, everybody has been calling and he hasnt answered" kya explained
"wow, they just had there grand opening, and now this shit happens. ... i have to go see her" i said to kya as i threw on some clothes
"see her? you act like your her friend or something"
"maybe i am" i remarked "look, shes actually really cool and i believe in second chances. i already slept with her man and caused her pain, the least i could do is buy her something and go see her in the hospital" i said putting my hair in a bun.
"i guess you are right. life is too short to be holding on to petty shit like that. well tell her im praying for her. i gotta get to work. see you" kya said grabbing her purse
"bye love, text you later. and i'll tell her you are praying for her"

no one really knew what hosptial she was at, but i called a few people and finally someone was able to contact ty and ask him which one she was at. once i pulled up to the hospital, i grabbed my purse, and got out of the car. i had on a pink blouse, with ripped jeans, and hot pink heels on. you may think thats to dressy for a hospital visit, but me being a model, i throw on heels like there sandals. i had on big hoops, with a high bun and a little bit of make up on.
"hi im here to visit Arianna Stevenson." i said to the lady at the front desk
"sorry, i cant let you go up there unless, someone tells me i can. thousands of people have been coming in here in disguise trying to get pictures of her and my boss said unless you have some type of proof, i cant let you in" she replied
"um...well im a model, im a friend of hers...." i took my phone out and showed her a picture "see this is me and her at her grand opening together."
the lady look at me skeptically, "hmm...room 206B on the second floor"
"thanks" i smiled. i walked at a fast pace to the elevator to the second floor. once i got up there her room was on the right side. i couldnt see her because they had the curtin closed. so i opened the door
"ari?" i asked
"ti-tina.. hey" she smiled lightly
"hi, i got you something" i smiled
"what is it?" she questioned sitting up in her bed
"its my grandma's famous tea. it helps headaches. i made some before i came here. try it" i said handing her the coffee mug
"thanks. im so ready to get out of here" she said grabbing the mug
"you will be soon. im so sorry for your-
"no need to be sorry. im okay" she faked smile "i know that everything happens for a reason" as a tear fell down her cheek
"ari, you will be okay, and death is a very hard thing to go through. but with your friends and family you'll be fine. we all are here for you...and i have good news for you" i smirked
"what?" she asked curiously
"well, you've been in the hospital so you probably havent been looking at the magazines but yesterday i read that you charity event raised over 3.2 million dollars! and over 5,000 kids have signed up for the camp. they even said they want your gymnasium to become an world wide gym all across the U.S. they wanted to know if you and ty would be willing to open up a gym in every state." i explained to her
"oh my god! this is incredible! i mean i expected it to be a good turn out, but dammmnnnn, world wide?? i've always wanted to change a life and now i get to do it all across America. and after all this has happened, i now have a story to tell. to change lives."
i honestly was happy to see her so elated after all she's been through. she deserves happiness. "i called the writer of the newspaper it was in and he said he wants to meet with you and ty to see if this can happen. i told him you were hurt so he said to just contact him when your ready to meet. i got everything covered"
"thanks. you are such a big help. dont get me wrong, i am devastated i lost my child, but god works in mysterious ways."
"yes, he does. i have to be at work at 4 so i gott go. i'll come see you tomorrow. me and kya are praying for you" i told her
"thank you. and just.....thanks. i cant say it enough to you. your really a great friend" she grinned
"so are you. goodbye"
"bye."
she's right god does work in mysterious ways. for he says "those who give recieve" and though her baby is gone, she had to give god her baby, but she recieved a foundation, and world wide event that will change many kids lives.
she sent me a text as soon as i left saying :
- thanks again. ty is at training camp for the playoffs in LA. so i guess its just me and you right now. i think i want to change the name of my gym to Nadia's gymnasium.
i sent her:
-nadia? whos that???
she said
-nadia was going to be my babies name. what do you think of it?
i said:
-i love it
i guess its just me and her in this together.
she deserves it.
