Eleanor's P.O.V
I was awestruck. He did not just say that! My anger died down to a sadness, and somewhat relieved. I sat down slowly in a chair and looked at the ground.
"Nate...I...."
My voice cracked and i felt tears drip from my eyes. I buried my face in my hands and cried, what was i thinking? Could i be that stupid?. Then i was greeted by a pair of warm arms.
"Shhhh. It's my fault for not telling you." He said in my ear.
Then he took my hands and lifted me up so i was standing.
"Well, why didn't you say something?" I asked confused.
"Because I......." Nate stopped and backed into a wall.
"Because?" I was scared but eager at the same time.
There was a long pause between us, i walked closer towards him until i was about an inch away from him. Nate finally looked up at me.
"Because i love you."
Because i love you, those words lingered in my ear for a while until i felt two hands gently pull my face up. Nate and i stared at each other for a while before I was pulled gently so that our lips gently pressed together.
I closed my eyes and sunk in the kiss, of course i kissed back. I heard a small cry coming from Nate. We pulled apart finally and a smile was creeping up on my face.
"Is that a smile?" Nate teasingly poked my nose.
I couldn't hold it any longer, i smiled like a little school girl and my cheeks were a shade of rose. Nate chuckled and pulled me into a tight hug.
"Don't worry, i know you'll make it through all this." He lifted my face so i was looking at him. "I promise."
He kissed my forehead and reached out his hand.
"Shall we?"
I smiled and giggled as i took his hand.
"We shall!"

Ashlynn had gone back to her hotel. Nate and i walked along the street, hand-in-hand. The dinner was amazing, there was lots of music too. The last song of the evening lingered in my ears. I couldn't help but sing softly to myself.
"I won't let these little things slip, out of my mouth."
I smiled to myself as Nate finished off some of the lyrics. I looked up at him and smiled. Suddenly a loud blast came from the sky, shades of purple and red flashed before my eyes. Fireworks.
"Look Nate, it's so beautiful!" I smiled at the fireworks.
"Yeah, but there is something more beautiful than that." Nate smiled down at me.
"Oh really? What then." I winked.
"Well, she's standing right infront of me."
At that moment, he pulled me in for another kiss, more passionate this time.
"Come on, let's go back."
