I laughed along with everyone else as Victor finished telling us about arguing with his teacher last period for 'lying' about her personal life. Miss Hendricks was one of those aged women who somehow managed to make any topic in class drift off to her past. Apparently she had been repeating a story about her daughter and her cat and Victor said she was lying, he made up a lie from her past story and managed to distract her before she could hand put a surprise test she had planned to give the class. Everyone considered him their saviour now.

It was Tuesday, yesterday Lyle had let me skip school because I had still been sick when I woke up, he warned me that it would be my last time for the year since I had already skipped so many days. I was fine at the moment though. When I woke up I had felt worse than I usually had when I thought about my parents or life in general so I had taken a couple of pills before I came to school and really couldn't remember what my past five classes were about at all.

"So how's the interview coming along?" Elliott gave Damien a crooked smile. Damien shook his head.

"Freaking out." He replied as he took the chip from my barely touched lunch tray. I had gone through two bottles of water though. He had a job interview coming up and was trying to prepare for it.

"You have nothing to worry about." I smiled at him. He gave me a smile that made it look like he was constipated and I laughed as I kissed his cheek. I too happy to care about the glares I was receiving from a lot of the girls around the table and beyond it.

He smiled and turned to kiss me but we both pulled back instantly when our lips touched a hand instead of each other.

"Calm your hormones," Rick smirked earning a smack on his head from Damien. I laughed hiding my face in the crook of his neck and I felt him chuckle as he hugged me. I wanted to be completely covered in his touch; it just felt so good...

"You okay?" I heard him ask me softly. I nodded.

"Hey, Hannah." I looked up hearing Anna say my name, "We're going to roof, you want to come?" she asked. I was shocked. She didn't like me... Well... When I was 'depressing'. I guess I wasn't being like that anymore.

"Uhm," I glanced at Damien uncertainly, "Sure." I smiled. Damien grabbed my hand instantly.

"No, I don't think so." He shook his head at the girls that had stood up to leave.

"They're not going to kill her, let her go." Rick chuckled.

Damien gave a tight smile letting my hand go so I could get up. He gave me a real smile and I smiled back at him before Anna's arm looped into mine and we began making our way to the roof. I had learnt that they sometimes snuck up to the art centre's roof, our school being on a hill meant the view from there wasn't that bad.

"Uh, why are we slowing down?" I noticed that there was a gap between the other girls and Anna and I.

"Uhm... I wanted to apologise." She said, "I judged you a little early, and it may have been because I... I was jealous of you." She said with an embarrassed laugh.
