chapter 24

the I shot awake and suddenly felt a massive pounding in my head "ngg," I groaned and grabbed the side of my head. "Where am I?" I asked myself and tried to stand up but felt a piercing pain in my ankle, which made me groan sit back down.

"What happened to me?" I sighed as I massaged my ankle. "YOU'RE AWAKE!" akio shouted as he burst into the room with a tray with an apple and glass of water "goodmorning," I replied, lazely and akio set the tray down and handed me the apple.

"Eat, you're injured," he said and I rolled my eyes "I'm not hungry," I replied as I placed the apple back on the tray. "You're never hungry, now eat!" he shouted angrily and I sighed "you're like the mother I never had" I said as I bit into the apple and he smiled "that's not a compliment," I said as I swallowed the apple and Akio handed me some crutches.

"you'll need it since you broke your ankle" akio said as he walked out. I sighed and stood up while I put my weight on the crutches. "Now, how do you do this?" I asked myself and placed one foward and the other and swung myself foward. "That was easy," I said and went to the kitchen and saw haruka, kage and akio sitting at the table "sensei, you're ok," haruka said, relieved. "Umm, yeah, I'm fine," I said and sat down. "Thank god, I'm so sorry sensei!" she shouted as I bit into a slice of toast and then heard a big explosion from oitside.

"What was that?" I asked, with a mouthful of toast. "Stay here" I said and grabbed my crutches and hopped over to the window. "oh my god" I said, as my eyes grew wider by the second. It looked like a battle field, there were ninjas fighting people with black jackets with red clouds on them. "Sensei, what's wrong?" kage asked as the three walked over to me and went wide eyed.

"What happened?" akio asked and I gripped my crutches. "Let's go" I said as I started walking out "sensei! you can't go, you have a broken ankle!" haruka shouted and red chakra surrounded me and I appeared in my chakra form.

"now I don't" I said as I dropped my crutches and opened the door and the three ran after me. "Where are we going aensei?" kage asked as we walked down to the village. "to see who wants to destroy this village before me," I said as I glared ahead and we stopped infront of 6 guys, all with orange hair, metal rods in their faces and the rinneagan.

"naruto uzumaki?" one said as he stepped foward and I glared at him "who wants to know?" I asked "my name is pain, I need you to bring world peace" he said and I laughed. "Really? You need ME to bring world peace?" I chuckled and cracked my knuckles "yes, we need to extract the 9 tails from you" he said and I looked at him and scratched my head. "Really? kurama, why do you want him?" I asked and he broke off a piece of metal from his arm "that's none of your business, all I need is the 9 tails" he said as he ran at me.

"sensei!" akio shouted but I grabbed his hand and moved him a few inches so he dodged me. "This is going to be harder than I tought," he said and turned and went to hit me. I jumped up before he could and threw a kunai at him "you think that will stop me?" he asked, completely calm and swated the kunai away like it was nothing.

"You realise kurama isn't here, right?" I asked as I landed and he stared at me "where is it?" he asked and I laughed. "How should I know? he thinks I'm dead" I laughed and he scoffed "you're using it's chakra right now" he said and I looked at my arm. "Some of him got left behind, you know since he was sealed inside me" I said and he sighed "then I guess there's no use for you now" he said and gripped the piece of metal and ran towards me.

He was too fast to dodge so all I could do was stand there and try to block him but as he was about to impale me someone stood infront of me, there blood splattered on me "don't...touch....my sensei" akio struggled to say and my eyes widened as I started to realise who stood infront of me to save me. "Akio" I said suprised and he looked back at me, he had blood flowing out of his mouth and smiled weakly at me. "akio, why did you do this?" I asked and he spat up some blood and pain dropped him.

"akio!" haruka and kage shouted and ran to his side "akio, you idiot" I said as I clenched my fists and haruka looked at me with her eyes wide with shock and worry "sensei, he's not breathing," she said. I then looked at pain and he was turning to leave "you can destroy this village" I said as I started walking towards him and he stopped and looked at me "you can try and kill me" I said as I stopped "but if you even attempt to kill my students I will make your life a living hell" I growled and an evil aura surrounded me, my eyes shifted to the rinneagan and the truth seeking balls appeared behind me.

"How is that possible?" pain asked and I took the staff off my back and gripped it as I stepped foward. I saw him sweating, he seemed out of breath and I appeared infront of him and smacked his face making him go flying. One of the other then ran up to me and went to punch me but I blocked it and kicked him back "sensei!" haruka cried and I looked over to them to see haruka crying over akio and kage leaning over him.

I ran over to them and knelt down beside Akio's lifeless body "akio, why did you do that? why did you have to save me?" I asked and looked at pain and the five others leaving. "you idiot".

YAY! new chapter! yes akio died, no he's not coming back (or is he?). so u finally did it! and it longer! so I hope you like it ^_^
