A week later

Yes! I can finally get out of this prison! I pack as fast as I can. "Calm down," My mom chuckles. I can't. I have been in here for three months. "Victoria," Someone whispers. I jerk, and spin around. "Did you just whisper my name?" I ask my mom. She shakes her head no. I stand there, shocked, stupefied, not knowing how to react. I continue packing, as someone tucks my hair behind my ear. I jerk around again, fearful. "Mom," I say. "Stop. T-this is not funny." She glares at me, one eyebrow above another. "I didn't do that, Victoria," she says. I stare at her in amusement, and go out to the car.

We are driving down the road. I should be excited, but I am worried. What just happened? I have to ask myself this. Maybe I am just going crazy. I mean, I have been in the hospital. We get out of the car, and I enter my home. I go in my room, and get out my laptop. What is the explanation for unknown whispering? I type. Thousands of responses. I click on the first article I see. Ghosts. Spirits. Demons. Poltergeists. The only words I can now see on my computer screen. To my surprise, in the corner of my eye, a black figure. I jump up and scream. It disappears. My dad runs in, glaring at me. "Victoria? Are you okay?" He asks. I look at him, breathless. "Yeah." He comes over and kisses me on the forehead. "Get some sleep," he says. I do as he asks, and go to sleep.

Somehow, I find myself standing in the rain. It is pouring so hard, rain is dripping off of my fingertips. I look up at a light, and see someone. It is the figure I saw. "Help me," It whispers. I wake up, shaking. It was only a dream. I close my eyes once more, but I am awoken. What the hell? It is 3:00 am! I open my eyes, to see a figure. I close my eyes, then open them again. It is gone. What is happening?
