III | Only For The Night... Right?

The entire car ride to Quartet Night's apartment was silent. I was sitting next to Camus in the back seats, Ranmaru and AI sat in the middle row, and Reiji sat in the front passenger seat. In all honestly, I felt pretty uncomfortable the whole car ride because of how strained the atmosphere was, no one making an effort to try and break the deafeningly somber silence that had fallen around us.

Thankfully that didn't last long.

Once we got to the apartment, I was the last to exit the van. Ranmaru and AI were already inside by the time I finally made it out of the car. Though Camus and Reiji decided to walk me in regardless of the fact they didn't have to.

"You're only staying here for the night so I won't give you the grand tour." Reiji said as he opened the door to the apartment and led me inside. "But I'll show you where our rooms are and a few other areas you might need."

His smile was slowly killing me from the inside out as he showed me the kitchen, the bathroom I could use, and where each of the members rooms were. Camus followed silently behind us and occasionally added little comments here and there when he found something Reiji had said to be a little too insufficient for his tastes.

Reiji came to a stop in front of a room at the very end of the hallway where all the other members rooms were. "This is our guest room and you can sleep here for tonight." Camus then opened the door and held it open for me to enter. "If there's anything you need then just ask myself or one of the other members." The blonde said coldly.

"T-Thank you very much, I'll try to not be a disturbance..." I murmured in response as the two of them left the room.

I'm literally freaking out right now. This room is to be mine for the night and it's in Quartet Night's apartment... HOW ISN'T THIS A DREAM?! I mean I know my apartment complex burning down is horrible and there's no getting around that and thankfully no one was injured, but being found and taken in by these four idols is definitely something that can only either be left down to extreme luck or just proves this all to be a dream.

Sitting down on the edge of the fluffy feeling bed, I took my phone out of my pants pocket and stared at the back of the case. It was the very first Quartet Night phone case that ever came out. It's a photoshoot from their debut song "Poison Kiss". This is so surreal to know that these four idols in this very picture have actually taken me in and allowed me to stay with them for the night.

I can definitely see a little bit of what the ST☆RISH members were talking about earlier with Quartet Night not being angels and all. But they're not bad people at heart or else they wouldn't have all agreed to Reiji leading me back to their apartment. They easily could have found me a place to stay or simply overlooked my existence as a whole and only worried about themselves. I wonder if ST☆RISH know that their senpai's aren't all bad..?

A soft nock on the door to what's my room for the night brought me out of my thoughts as I immediately placed my phone down on my lap, not even caring that the screen is face down so that my phone case is on full display. "Yes?" I spoke up.

With a click, the door opened and a head of teal colored hair peered through the slightly open doorway. "Reiji asked me to see if you've eaten dinner yet." AI said with a blank expression.

"I haven't."

He nodded his head as he looked down the hallway. "She said that she hasn't."

"Then come eat My Girl!" Reiji shouted from somewhere within the apartment.

AI stared at me for a minute before turning away. "We're about to eat our dinner so you should join us unless you wish to remain hungry the rest of the night." He said as he suddenly began walking away from the guest room I'm to be staying in.
