Chapter Ten
Stella
Have you ever felt like you were just utterly useless? Well, that's exactly how I feel right now because of last night. My own boyfriend shut me out of his life and I know he didn't mean to yell at me like that but it still hurt me. I just want him to trust me and to have him talk to me about all his feelings but for some reason he's been pushing me away. He doesn't notice it but I do and it's starting to really piss me off instead of upsetting me.
I want him to be the same Stiles that he use to be before the nogitsune had possessed him. I've been noticing that ever since the nogistune possessed him that he's been different. I didn't want to bring up the topic to him for obvious reasons but it was still something I thought about. I mean I understand why he became different after but he just kind of... stayed like that.
Either way I just wanted to help my boyfriend but he obviously doesn't want any of my help. Then again that's not going to stop me from trying to help him. Whether he likes it or not I'm going to push my way into his life again because there's no way I am giving up on him now.
Malia and I managed to catch up to Lydia and Bella. Thankfully, Lydia was better now because we needed her brains and also because she's my best friend. I'll always need her no matter what.
"The Dread Doctors by T.R. McCammon." Lydia read the book cover as we walked into the school causing Bella to suck in air so I snapped my head at her in confusion. She waved me off but I was definitely going to be talking to her later.
"What?" Malia asked Lydia who had suddenly stopped walking in the middle of the hallway as she stared down at the book.
"I don't know. There's something about it. Has anyone actually read it yet?" Lydia asked and Malia glared at me while I smiled innocently.
"Just me, considering Stella didn't want to read it. And I didn't understand any of it." Malia commented causing Bella to laugh at my actions.
"We should probably all read it." Lydia suggested causing me to stop and glare at her.
"Wow, there. We should probably not read it at all. Well, at least I shouldn't read it." I tell her and she raised an eyebrow at me.
"Don't look at me like that, banshee." I insulted her and she just smiled, shaking her head at me.
"Kira's working on that." Malia brought up and of course the kitsune wanted to help like always and have decided to print out the whole entire book so that many of us can read it. Which is not a good idea in my behalf.
"Stiles says he can't find anything on the author. He thinks it's a pen name." I commented and Lydia nodded but then looked down at the back of the book to read the description of it.
"'In a small New England town, teenagers are taken in the night and buried alive. Days later they emerge transformed, wreaking havoc and spreading terror, commanded by an ancient order of parascientists known only as the Dread Doctors.' Sounds vaguely familiar. How does it end?" She asked Malia so I looked over at my cousin considering she was the only one who had read it.
"It doesn't. This is supposed to be volume one." Malia replied to the older Martin while the younger Martin leaned against the lockers and was day dreaming causing me to get curious to what her pretty little mind was thinking about.
"Oh, let me guess... There is no volume two?" I asked the Hale and she looked at me with amusement.
"I think we're living volume two." She commented and Lydia snapped her head over at us.
