"Will I need to bring my bikini?" Jacinda speaks once again, making my pounding headache worse. "Do you think they have a pool?" She holds up her blue and black striped bikini, the one that I got her for Christmas which I must admit is certainly adorable. I was over the moon that she liked it, just seeing her happy makes me happy.

"It's the middle of winter," I reply - placing a hand on my forehead before sighing, looking away from her direction, scoffing as I try not to laugh at her, feeling intense love for my younger sister. "Unless you want to get hyperthermia, no - don't bring it."

"You're seriously so grumpy," she lets out a light laugh, chuckling to herself as she eagerly packs her bags, throwing whatever she thinks will make her look 'cute' in. "We're going on an adventure. You could at least smile a little."

"I'll smile when I'm asleep, thanks."

"That's actually really creepy Ves, don't say that." She breathes harshly before letting out another laugh which makes a small smile creep along my face. Her happiness should be my happiness after all.

Ding

Dong.

"I guess I'll have to get it since you haven't finished packing," I break into a wide grin, shoving her softly so that she falls down onto the bed in an overdramatic way.

"Lucky you," she calls out to me as I exit the room, my eyes looking down past the stairs to the front door, laughing lightly as her bright blue eyes follow me. "I guess I won't bring my bikini then!"

I scramble down the stairs as fast as I can, trying not to fall over my own feet as I normally would do which is why my elbows and knees are covered in bruises. I however consider myself a quite lucky person due to the fact that I haven't broken a bone yet. Seventeen years and still going strong.

"Coming!" I call out while swerving back towards the kitchen, opening our silver colored refrigerator which has myself with my sisters' faces plastered all across it, making it look like our family never had a dull moment, our pearly white teeth glowing and shining from the kitchen light. Mom really liked to save memories, she also liked to be able to look back on them easily - and since we all go to the fridge way more than we should, she clearly put them there to remind us of how we are supposed to be when we are frustrated with one another. She also liked to make dad a little bit jealous when he would come over but that's a different story.

Taking a bottle of ice-cold water for myself and Jacinda, I kick the door shut and run towards the front door; awkwardly opening it due to how full my hands are. Tucking the second bottle of water underneath my right arm while opening the other.

Upon sight I know that the two girls are in-fact related to the beautiful girl next door. One of them has dark, long yet wavy hair which reaches down to the middle of her back, her eyes are chocolate colored and full of life. Her makeup is beyond perfection, with her gray eye-shadow and curled, black lashes. Her lips are plump and a light pink color - one that would catch your eye from miles away because of her tanned skin.

The other girl has light brown hair and piercing blue eyes which sort of intimidate me. The way she glances at me is like she can read right into my soul, right into my mind and heart. Being slightly taller than her sister, she is certainly scarier. Her hair is quite shorter than her sisters', flowing gently past her shoulders and onto her back. She has a bright smile however; her makeup isn't as bright as her sisters'. She seems like she just put on concealer and foundation and left her house which is completely fine with me.

"Hey, you're one of the Armstrong sisters, right?" The shorter girl asks, cocking her head to the side as I don't move myself away from the doorframe, the cool liquid of water slipping down my throat. "I'm Lisa Cimorelli. I don't know if you know, but we're neighbors."
